Will be tonight as long as my APE fruits are big enough to justify it...been watching the slow mo fo's gradually grow all week. Worth the wait though...if not tonight then tomorrow.

Yeah I've always found the perspectives of growers on the topic of tripping to be way more interesting.  They tend to have overall more understanding of the organism itself and I think that provides a more thoughtful consideration to personal perspectives  of the kinds of people willing to grow this thing.  People who do mushrooms occaisonally definitely think about mushrooms alot. But people who grow mushrooms have mushrooms on the brain all the time.

Also when was the last time you had access to the drug on the scale that a grower does? Weve got more experience, stories, etc about shrooms than anyone.

Think I can safely say I tripped hard af!!! I got to a point, when I was checking my plates and tubs, I was doing ok, then...........

Didn't know where I was or who I was. Don't even think I can describe what happened......just...... :mindblown:

For the best part of 2 months I've watched my GTs go from nothing to spawn to fruit(s?? Caps'll keep me right here) and to think that I have seen a complete cycle through from the spores in the syringe to what happened last night just gives me such a feeling of accomplishment. Good things truly come to those who waìt.

You guys are the only ones that get this, I never asked to become obsessed with growing mushrooms but I am most definitely obsessed. It's fascinating, it's a roller coaster, when something works it's like wow. When something goes wrong you're bummed. I kinda think growing is all part of the trip experience and people who take shrooms but didn't grow them are missing out on a key part of it.

I've only been a cultivator since July, but I think about it too much..

I have a clear plastic jar of pop corn in my pantry.. I think about inoculating it every time I look at it.

I see bags of bird seeds for sale and think, "Oh.. there's where I can buy some when I need it."

I see an empty chicken rotisserie plastic tub in the recycle bin and think, "I bet that would make a great mini mono."

I see mason jars with preserved peaches in it and think, "You're using it wrong!"

And I keep getting ghost whiffs of mycellium out of nowhere.. like the smell of a freshly cracked PF Tek jars with a clean fuzzy verm layer on top. You could almost say it's an olfactory flashback.

....

Does this "mush cult on the brain" every go away?

Great post man. It's all about the journey, you might even say the journey is the destination. Good to remember that when you have to throw out loads of contaminated spawn and start over ha.

I relate to all this and I know that smell thing you mention too.

Being able to tolerate all this is a pre requisite for any relationship I may have in the future

I really don't know way there's people that's asked me how to make shrooms coffee but OK
Put your coffee and sugar in your cup
Put your shrooms in your cup(I prefer fresh shrooms cut up)
Add hot water and milk

I melt some chocolate, put it in small size ice cube trays- stir em in with 1g dried ground Pans per chocolate cube & store them in the freezer.
