Hi! I am sunshine's mom. I love this community. We always thought it was a bust to talk about drugs back in the 60s. I have tried DMT but never mushrooms. I have taken over 500 LSD trips and I smoked heavy pot for over 20 years. I like to smoke an eighth a few times a year. I have a beautiful glass pipe that sunshine made for me!!! Mushrooms share a lot similarities to DMT but assuming you vaped the DMT, mushrooms will kinda feel like a more slowed down and stretched out DMT trip (visually) mushrooms have as much of a mental trip as visual where DMT has a very clear almost sober mental state.
You will probably find LSD and mushrooms share similarities too.

Dmt is an insane compound. You are just as you are right now while under the influence but obviously you are visually somewhere else. While mushrooms impair/change your mental state completely. Dmt is just absolutely insane where mushrooms are weird

But yes DMT and Mushrooms are similar in high doses, all psychedelics take you to the same place at the right dosage.

I took oral DMT/Aya daily/near daily for 4 years, more than 500 oral DMT experiences lol and i'm as sane as ever.

DMT and Psilocybin are almost the same; structured on a molecular level.
DMT is a gel like powder; while Psilocybin is found in and can be extracted from mushrooms.
The experiences are quite similar in visual / body high nature,
however the duration differs greatly.
Unlike LSD and mescaline.
Level 5 experiences are very common with high doses of both, DMT and psilocybin.

Psilocin (also known as 4-HO-DMT, 4-hydroxy DMT, psilocine, psilocyn, or psilotsin) is a substituted tryptamine alkaloid and a serotonergic psychedelic substance. It is present in most psychedelic mushrooms together with its phosphorylated counterpart psilocybin.
Psilocin is broken down in the human stomach and liver and then converted into Psilocybin.
Psilocin is a non-oxidized compound found in fresh psychedelic mushies.
Psilocybin is found within dried psychedelic fungus.

You got that mixed up, psilocybin is converted to psilocin, no the other way around.
