Do you find Kavanaugh to be the kind of sober minded, even keeled, intellectual that ought to serve on the Supreme Court?

I sure as hell don't. He looked like a sulking, spoiled, crybaby rich kid, who grew up in a country club, and has never known adversity.

I must say though, Trump sure seems to be upholding more of his promises than Obama did in his whole two term presidency. What an embarrassment. Obama had a supermajority. Left wing politicians are garbage.

Another win for conservatives. I’m sure the base is increasingly energized as a result... Nothing quite like getting your way to really make you thirsty.

He failed in my opinion by crying and whining in front of the whole world instead of dealing with that nonsense like a man.

Yes. I was embarrassed for him. He looked like a sniveling, whiny child, who wasn't getting his way. Do you see him as someone fit to be a Supreme Court Justice?

I would think there should be a long list of better options other than Kavanaugh.

I don't have an issue with people drinking in college, my issue is he's very weak under the slightest degree of pressure.  Trump doesn't respect men like him, he would chew him up and spit him out if he was on his bad side.

Yeah, if he campaigned against Trump, Trump would make quick work of him. Kavanaugh wouldnt be able to maintain composure.

Anyway, this day is a sad day for America.

Not when he wrote the patriot act. His demenor in court is secondary to his judicial rulings.

He personally wrote it on a bar napkin. The ink ran due to the less than extreme conditions of drinking only 14 beers that night. Tragic really, it’s become such a well loved policy.

I don't know if you see how deeply flawed Kavanaugh is, as a supreme court Justice pick, but Qman seems to. That means we all lost. You're blinded by your innate tribalistic tendencies. A 40 year commitment isn't something this country should make hastily, or take lightly.

That's hardly an insult coming from someone who defends a 36 year old story without corroboration.

Whether it be a court case or not, people have the right to a presumption of innocence. If this human right is abandoned, anybody can take anybody down using libel.

It would be a sick nation. There is a reason Kavanaugh was confirmed. People came to reason.

And if we are judging people based on their college drinking habits, then look at our last president who drank, smoked weed, and blew coke.

You can't have your cake and eat it too.

As for crying, Qmaiin, I think you are misjudging the pain of this type of allegation. For him, it wasn't about a job so much as his family.

Emotion after being accused of sexual assault in front of the whole nation and your family is something none of us know. How do you judge that kind of pain? Have you felt it before?

Crazy how everytime someone mentions that based on candor alone he is unfit to
be a scj, some conservative member has to come in and make it about "der he's
innocent until proven guilty!!11"

The point is that he was nominated so he could suck trumps dick. At most 6 more
years of dick sucking then a lifetime of dealing with the repercussions of his shitty beliefs. The
dude believes in asinine legislation and can barely make a point without getting
teary or angry. Unbecoming of a federal judge.

Why do you think its a win for YOU specifically?

He has an amazing record. He also stood strong and tenacious as the Democrats were exposed for using Machavellian underhand, leaking the allegations at the last moment against Ford's wish.

This also fired up the conservative base. People give a shit about the presumption of innocence.

Not only did an impeccable man join the supreme Court, the Republicans won a cultural victory.
