Neighbor shower running 24/7??

I hear it running next door all the time. What the fuck could it be? Do they have an aquaponic setup in their bathtub? Did someone die in the shower? I hear them walking around, though.. what sort of project or strange addiction would include constantly running the water?

my friends had a toilet running that they told the landlord about but he did nothing. the qater bill that month was like $900 and dewd had someone put in those new low flow water toilets like the next day :lol:

My landlords are similar. Roof leaks, do nothing for months while the ceilings get damaged. But god forbid the lawn doesn't look perfect at any time, because that would hurt the property value.

Have you ever seen those toilets where you poop on a raised platform and then it gets flushed off the poo pedistal and down the drain?

When I was in Yugoslavia I had to poop in a hole in the floor

Lmaoo okay so it’s both taps running from a shower. I can hear it through my own pipes, and can’t hear actual water splashing into a tub.
It is dark and mysterious tho. It’s just water running but.. It doesn’t stop.
Best case scenereo someone hates the landlord and their lease is about to terminate. My main problem is no hot water. It would be not my business if it weren’t for that.

Maybe there’s a leak in the wall or some other place nobody notices. Could be a leaky toilet. Just call the building manager and say you hear water leaking.

Jesus dude you should’ve led with having no hot water. If I were in your shoes, depending on if you think this neighbor may actiually be dangerous I’d take one of a few approaches. #1 talk to the neighbor about it and explain you don’t have hot water etc. #2 You can tell the landlord that you can’t get any hot water and was wondering why or #3 ignore it and continue to get creeped out and have no hot water that you pay for.

  One of the negatives of renting a shared unit. Here we're in a townhouse so hot water tank, ect has one in each "house".Are they new tenents? 
  We actually had a similar issue (the water was at a drip level; like Chinese water torture amount of water, {couldn't hear that, but verified the minute water running through the pipes on the water bill. Turned out there was a leaking pipe.
  So always remember one of the most important things in life "NEVER make assumptions".it's day one stuff; but I run into people acting the opposite on almost a daily basis.
