lost my groove

I used to have so much fun playing music and now I just get frustrated with everything when I try and mess with making music. Music was a big part of my life for a long time I played bass for 10 years and programmed/mixed music for about 4/5 after that. Guys what happened and how do I get back to it.

Avoid weed smoking, it is self harm. Avoid sex (masturbation).

You wanted advice. Masturbation seems to be a sinful act, it always leaves one with guilt,shame - even those who say they are not with it, I seen.

You be having the full rainbow again in no time, if you never use drugs nor sex. Demons steal our senses one by one. Then our vision.

Hey man, youre thinking too much about it. Anyone has a right to creative ingeniousity, and all it takes is a little intent.

You seem to expect something from yourself, so how about a new instrument? Start from scratch. Play 12 strings for ex
Or become a flutist in india.:thumbup:

Well you can make a groove with a nice dado blade attacked to your saw, I find it more effort than it’s worth to just cutting tongues.

I get times like that.. i play drums for 3-4 hours every single night.. then i will have a week where i just can't feel it and quit after 30 minutes :frown: weed helps me loosen up.. but some nights nothing helps. just need a break.

OR.. try learning/playing something outside your wheel house. i get excited when i learn new techniques/beats..

one thing I do still fo is lang ass sessions in virtual dj so at least I can have fun doing that its just not tue same as producing OC

You need inspiration. Sounds like you are stuck in a rut, you need to get out and go get into a fight or save an animal or something as long as its not the same ol same ol.

Please take status off, for your own good, for then you be virtous better.

If you want inner peace, the path is to go straight with God. And this is very hard my friend. Literally we are ALL SINNERS (Rom.:3.23 KJV).

Then we would have to clean up our closets, and it be a mess.

You might not want your mom to see it.


If a thing is a works of the Flesh, it is time to abandon it. Drugs, sex, statuses, pride etc. The list is literally endless. And it is why there are so few people of God. But many of Men. But as the bible says, let every man be a liar, and let God be true.

We have free choice to chose master, and who can perfect his path enough to chose to be with God. I know I have a hard time.
