Who is in? Group fitness challenge / bullshit online accountability thing.

Obviously it's like 80% eating but if we start now we will be great by next spring and we will be tearing up Tindr and ggg-something-ing Grindr by November.

Who else is trying to get in shape?

i have been working on my diet for the last 6 weeks or so and just got back into working out and stretching. need to get my bike working again and get a stand so i can ride inside but it's on the to do.

starting to feel a lot better and just getting used to working out again after a 8 year break.

currently 6'2" 185lb

not too worried about my weight as i don't expect it go ever be back where i was in highschool around 170lb just want to loose excess body fat, be fit and toned and be in good shape for activities.

Last week I ran 5 miles 5 days in a row. The last time I logged was 39:39. My route involves a few hill climbs as well. Nothing crazy, but enough to make a difference. Also I try to do 3 sets of 30 push ups each day. I can't run this week because of rain. It's coming down unnecessarily hard for me to take a run. maybe this evening. I hope to get 5 miles in under 38 minutes by the end of this month. Maybe start running an 8 mile loop instead.

i got off my ass and watered the plants outside, just had my shake and about to hit the stretching and get a nice workout in. have been enjoying watching this road running hunt around the fruit trees. the water brings the bugs and lizards for em.

did a couple of runs recently but it is just too hard on my feet and knees now a days i need to bike instead. used to love having nice run in my daily routine it seems to give me a better full body workout vs biking.

its nice to finally use my bowflex i bought a year ago :lol:

I've got the same problem with running/jogging. It just kills my knees. Have you tried an elliptical machine?

I'm down to 180 now from a peak of 195. Mostly diet but I do get some exercise. I have also mostly quit coffee.

I'm 6 foot 2 inches at 165-170 depending on how much water weight is in me. I feel damn good, but could probably use more muscle mass.

Same. Since I started bjj in January, Ive gained about 10 lbs. Im consistently eating about 2500 cals a day, but Im gaining super slow so I need to bump things up a bit. I would like to about at 150 for my height.

yea they are nice but i am currently trying to do this in my garage vs going to the gym. although i already thought about getting a gym membership going again when i start working.

6' and 175lbs over here.  The weight is fine but I could lose the spare tire I've been carrying around for the last 6 months.  I could be a lot leaner, no doubt. 

Lately I've been cycling a lot more.  Riding to and from work and then also long weekend rides. I've increased my protein intake and I'm trying to cut out sweets from my diet but my girl has a penchant for cookies and candies so that doesn't help. 

So count me in too.

Now what?
