Cubensis B+ Syringe - Is this ok?

Hi guys!

I acquired a syringe of B+ a couple of weeks ago...
Does this look ok to you? It looks a bit, erm, empty, to me?



But if this syringe is no good, I think I'm going g to have to find someone who would give/sell me a spore print or syringe... If needs be I'll make my own like I did with my panaeolous cinctulus spores

a few specks is plenty. It's doesn't need to be dark, there's plenty of spores you can't see.

Well them 2 comments alone make me feel 100 times better! I think I'll go and inoculate my 2 pure brf pot I sterilised last night :wink:

That's whole brown rice. U can still use it, but the pf tek requires brown rice flour (brf) and verm. What ur doing is a grain tek and I'm not sure if it'll work or not without being sterilized.

Oh excuse me. At a closer look it looks kinda like flour. Why's it so lumpy? It definitely won't work with just brf and no verm.

The jars on the right? That's the brf mix... 2 verm, 1 water, 1 brf. What your also seeing is a second load of jars, the darker ones. They have added manure and honey. See my link above for more on that...

Your not seeing ingredients in this pic at all. Just the finished products, before sterilisation.

Got it, yea I was confused at first. I was probly a lil baked and thought it was rice in ur jars lol. I think my eyes are a lil fucked too from all the lsd and mushrooms over that last few years lol.

Extremely dark syringes aren't favorable:  increases the chances of contaminant spores being present

I thought we want mushroom spores to greatly outnumber mold spores? If so wouldn't a super dark syringe be better? Allowing u to only use 1 drop to inoculate. Not saying ur wrong caps, I've been told the same thing. I just don't see why.

It only takes 2 spores... sterility is a joke, and rarely occurs with anything involving movement... in a perfect world, syringes are made invitro, but mass production needs render this a near impossibility... if you can see the spores, there are thousands, possibly even millions present

I get that. I just mean if we want mushroom spores to outnumber mold/bacteria spores, wouldn't a concentrated syringe be better for making sure the spores we want outnumber the ones we don't? I shot up a jar with a whole print one time just to see what would happen. My only results from that were fast colonization.

This was b4 I ever worked with agar. And basically just an experiment.
