Aldi's has been popping up pretty quick here. They have pretty cheap basics like milk, eggs, meat, produce. Chicken quarters .89/lb. The cashiers fling your shit through pretty quick, so lines don't last long.

And the sprout bread is fresh. Sold with the real bread. Not like the Ezekiel bread in the weird part of the freezer section.

Same billionaire fuckers that own Trader Joe's. It's the poor man's version.

I think cutting out all that added sugar is the way to go for keeping fit. They put that shit in every goddam thing. You gotta prepare your own meals.
I def need more exercise though. I'm a lazy MF.

sugar is horrible, I was keeping my sugar under 20grams and carbs under 40 for a month once, and most of that from fruits and veggies, with the rare peice of chocolate, I never felt better, I just started this regiment again yesterday, so ill see if I start to feel better again

I'm so stoked!
Shoulder is all better. Knees are 80%. So lucky I didn't fuck them up as bad as I thought.

Feels so good to get a workout in today after 3, almost 4 days off.

He said they only carry 2 brands of any given product and the brands have to prove their worth to the corporate heads every few months.

Made my arms and chest quite a bit bigger within a few days (was already working out beforehand)
But the results are pretty amazing.

If you mean Aldi's a lot of stuff they don't even have two brands. They got it pretty streamlined. Then they have all kinds of miscellaneous non food items they try to entice you with.

I have some advice that really helped me

STOP using MACHINES. What you could do in 30 minutes with free weights would take over 3 hours on 20 different machines..

also, creatine just adds water weight from what I understand, giving the appearance of quick gains :/

creatine is always in your muscles whether you supplement it or not, there are enzymes that make creatine in your cells. It is an essential part of the kind of respiration your muscles use during heavy resistance training. but the 5g/day level of creatine is far higher than what your body would typically make on its own
Quote:

Phosphocreatine can anaerobically donate a phosphate group to ADP to form ATP during the first two to seven seconds following an intense muscular or neuronal effort.
Conversely, excess ATP can be used during a period of low effort to convert creatine to phosphocreatine. The reversible phosphorylation of creatine (i.e., both the forward and backward reaction) is catalyzed by several creatine kinases. The presence of creatine kinase (CK-MB, MB for muscle/brain) in blood plasma is indicative of tissue damage and is used in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction.[1] The cell's ability to generate phosphocreatine from excess ATP during rest, as well as its use of phosphocreatine for quick regeneration of ATP during intense activity, provides a spatial and temporal buffer of ATP concentration. In other words, phosphocreatine acts as high-energy reserve in a coupled reaction; the energy given off from donating the phosphate group is used to regenerate the other compound - in this case, ATP. Phosphocreatine plays a particularly important role in tissues that have high, fluctuating energy demands such as muscle and brain.

in other words creatine plays the role of a "first responder" to incoming stress/resistance because it generates energy very quickly compared to the other respiration processes like glycolysis and aerobic respiration.

taking creatine does cause water to to move into your muscle cells but it also helps you push your limits weight lifting. it isn't a magic supplement that you can take to increase muscle mass without lifting (though you're right that it will make you look a bit bigger due even before you gain any muscle to increased water weight), it just enables you to lift more, acceleration the progression of muscle growth.

furthermore creatine has more research/documentation demonstrating its efficacy and safety than any other workout supplement, by far

also don't neglect potassium!! you need it if you're going to be doing daily training. you should be eating at least 2.5-4x as much potassium as sodium. I just put straight potassium bicarbonate, 1/4tsp, into my smoothies twice a day. they sell it as a cooking ingredient called "cream of tartar" for super super cheap

"it isn't a magic supplement that you can take to increase muscle mass without lifting, it just enables you to lift more, acceleration the progression of muscle growth."
I feel this logic can be applied to even steroid use. Testosterone is naturally produced in your body as well, and aids in the growth of muscle development :/

But don't steroids still increase muscle somewhat even if you don't exercise?

I didn't realize the stuff actually works well. Can you just take it PRN?
