My jars tipped over so my BRF cakes got soaked. I do t have a lot of hope for them but they seem to be doing okay, will take pics sometime today and share them. However, my agar shows absolutely no contamination’s on any of the plates so I’m super stoked about them. The only plate that contained a contam was the GT agar that I transferred. I’m really trying to get a clean GT plate or I risk losing the strain.

I just got 8 more jars going 4 agar plates and 2 liquid cultures so I’m pretty happy but this has taken me literally like 5 and a half hours, I’m kinda exhausted and although I’m enjoying the process. I really need to come back down to reality as fun as it is, it’s a lot of work, lol.
It wouldn’t be so bad if I could do em in the kitchen like most of you guys or have a lab but no, I drew the short end of the stick, lol.

Will take a while. But with the time you will get more and more equipment and so the growing procedures will becoming easier.
I got my pressure cooker after my third growth btw, so just chill and let the shroom do its thing

These are pics of the jars that tipped.
What’s everyone’s opinion, can I save em?

These are not healthy... any of them... I wouldn't invest anymore time into them personally... very obvious bacterial infection, and mold in most

I did PF tek about 10 years ago, aren't you supposed to have a dry verm layer to the top? Or is this something other than PF?

No, I’ve tried that with no success. I tried to colonize these jars with agar plates.

It's a common feeling when starting this hobby.
I've thought both "I got this on lock" and "I've got no fucking idea" almost simultaneously.
Reality has always been somewhere in between the two.
Realize that even those with top technique expect some level of contamination and failure and only get there after repetition and attention to detail.
1) I'm pretty sure that's why i enjoy it so much 2) The learning curve is steep, but so is the drop off 3) Hindsight, patience, and searching the f*** out of this forum constantly reveals flaws in what i'm doing.
I'd say the number one lesson I've learned is to heed the advice of those that have lived the process more than myself. Almost every grow I've had go sideways tracks back to a shortcut that is successful in some cases but yields disaster when a variable changes.
The solution has almost always been avoid the shortcut and risk or accept you can't control exactly where the dice land given current situation and move forward from there.

I want to see another round of pictures of those jars. Some definitely look bacterial but some also look really wet.
What are you using to filter the air in the jars?

I threw away one that was obviously bacterial.
The others are just too wet, they tipped over in the PC. It was just a stupid mistake, I should have done more jars to make the PC more stable.
Will share a few more pics tonight.

Wouldn't count on any of them personally, start something new, even if you're going to give these a shot

Lol, man I really suck at this.
I just threw out 10 bags of ruined sawdust substrate and 2 bags of grains that were past their prime by a month.
The first bulk grow of MS I did (that worked) used a syringe of spores and grain jars that I sterilized. I just shot ~1CC in each jar in a SAB. Are you using a SAB?
Also, as far as having 8 more going... I'm pretty sure thats what this hobby require. It requires your time, and your patients at the same time.

Yeah, I’m using a SAB.
My problem I think is the house I live in, it’s definitely not contamination free.
So, the light fluffy colonies is mold and the stark white is mycelium?
