Corn silage grow?
    #25473383 - 09/19/18 08:16 PM (2 years, 7 months ago)

Anyone have a good corn silage, or corn stalk cold pasteurization tek? I know I could steam, but if I'm standing in front of a huge pot of boiling water I'd rather be brewing! No bleach tek!

It would need to be dried, shredded and rehydrated I'd say.  Oysters would love it.  Treat it like straw but make sure to drain/dry it until it's dry on top.  I'm thinking hydrated lime, laundry detergent, or sodium carbonate would work.

I'm not sure about cold pasteurization. There can be a lot of corn grain in it. Certainly worth a try.

I planned to compost silage, wood chips, and some form of animal shit (not sure which carries the highest urea and ammonia) for almond agaricus.  Still more research to do. Unless someone has the answers I need. Anyone!?
