and umm poke a hole diagonaly in one of the corners and stick a rubber tube inside and run the other end in an empty 2 liter soda bottle.

And umm use WIDE MOUTH 1/2 pint jars!
He believes that the regular jars just take too much time to colinize.

Where he lives he can get brown rice flour at the local Hy-Vee!

He also believes that the kits are a waste of money!

My friend use 1/2 pints, which colonized in 2-3 weeks, and has had great flushes.

My friend has had better results with buying whole brown rice, (mahatma), and sticking it in the food processor for a whil until there were only small chunks left (about 10-15 minutes).

My friend would say that a kit is a waste of money. Especially when you are succesful this time (by following the pf tek), and decide to expand and expieriment.
