I guess that might have been in bad taste. Sorry, I've had a couple beers and it's almost bedtime. It weighed 35 wet

Bought this for cheap earlier this year.
Gonna try it out with some jerky, since my nesco is now what my wife calls the "shroom" dehydrator.

She usually refers to is as my cooking stuff.
BTW,glad I didn't use that above dehydrator for a load of mushrooms. I can tell right now it's gonna be a lot slower to heat up,and the fan is nowhere near as fast(or as loud)as my other dehydrator.

I just pitched a dead dehydrator, thing was a piece of shit. the treys warped like crazy just from its own heat. it took like twice as long as my wally world Presto. it looked suspiciously similar to the one you have, blue treys and all. but its def a different brand.

dropping the gills on agar isn't a clone. it's multispore.
It doesn't have to be. If the mycelium starts growing fast enough, the spores will not germinate, or at least their growth will be 3 days behind the clone mycelium. At which point you could have already transfered, theoretically.
Just my opinion.. may be wrong in some aspects..

I put a bunch of Azzy mycelium on woodchips (and some on grains) into this flowerpot... had to drill a drainage hole into the fucker.
Covered it with a bit of dirt and 2 types of moss. Would you recommend to put a plastic bag on it to keep the moss moist and increase the CO2 for it?

Well there is no way to make that colonize and fruit by this years fruiting season. SO I would just leave it and let it colonize naturally like the outdoors. You could cover with something like some shredded leaves, they will help hold in moisture.

Yes very thick very fluffy. Iโm going to try and cook up some agar that doesnโt have quite as many nutrients in it as well as a wood Tea recipe. I got a small patch Iโm going to plant this fall but mostly Iโm going to keep pbulking sub all winter for a spring plant. Iโve done a few azzy patches a few years back although Iโm doing these a little differently

I guess if the gills contain spores. Really pretty sure the gills themselves are mushroom tissue, though theyre likely to not be too clean (just will take an isolation or two). Some strains are sporeless, some fruits didnt produce spores yet, who knows, etc. I like the inside-cube tissue, grows so well on agar
Though its kind of exciting and easier to grow from the spore. Even syringe>agar is pretty easy to do cause you just drop on each plate. Excision and surgery, into another plate, i always get nervous ill fuck up my cultures without a flowhood. I prolly need to take a 66qt and make torch some holes for a new, big SAB. Try to make it easier to work with agar, particularly the cut and transfer. It def does take practice. Also, i think my culture scalpel holder or the sterile blades have been printed backwards, so i have to work awkwardly with the tool, tho ive gotten more used to it.
As far as exotics, besides cubes if i work on anything, itll be this p. Mex Chicon Nindo ive had for a while. Never had stones, and even if it doesnt produce much would be awesome to fruit. I think temps will be just right in my area (75ish)

Hey! Thought this might have been AA+ because there was some confusion, but it is LGT. Notice how light the spores are?
How awesome! Damn, sorry bout the picture. Must have a booger on the camera.
