$250 for all the parts below be aware you will need connections to connect to your house pipes and a filter.

*****I have revised some of the parts anything that has been revise I will put this at the beginning (*****) to make it easier to find. This is a work in progress guys.*****

Anyone trying this or planning to try this in the future BUY THESE NOW This is an awesome deal and the people are great. These usually cost $6 to $7 each and they work better than any other nozzles I have tried they are 10 nozzles for $20 GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN THIS WONT LAST LONG!!...

Mist Nozzles .10mm/.004", nickle coat, ceramic tip, anti-drip cleanable 10 pack

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mist-Nozzles-10mm-004-nickle-coat-ceramic-tip-anti-drip-cleanable-10-pack/132020912341?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I had a hard time finding the parts also. Remember depending on what washer you get. you need to be able to connect 3/8 high pressure mist hose to it. I bought this It might be a good idea to get amazon prime to save money on shipping B4 you buy...

Sun Joe SPX1000 1450 PSI 1.45 GPM 11.5-Amp Electric Pressure Washer $69.99

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BGTLT9K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and this to connect the hose. You can use this on any power washer with a M22 15MM connection...

HOSE ADAPTER FOR M22 15MM TO 3/8" $ 15.00

https://www.obsessedgarage.com/collections/pressure-washing/products/hose-adapter-for-m22-15mm-to-3-8

then you need 2 of these...

Brass 3/8 x 3/8 MNPT slip Lock Male Connector $9.99

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brass-3-8-x-3-8-MNPT-slip-Lock-Male-Connector/332791870612?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

(*****) If you want to monitor the pressure you will need two of these...

American Grease Stick Co. Brass Compression Connector, 3/8" Tube, Male (1/4"-18 NPT) 2 x $3.99

https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/american-grease-stick-co-brass-compression-connector-3-8-tube-male-1-4-18-npt-cf-17c/11408076-P?cm_mmc=ET-_-Trans-_-Confirmation-_-General#utm_source=et&utm_medium=trans&utm_campaign=confirmation&utm_content=general

For the pressure monitor you will need one of these also...

American Grease Stick Co. Brass Union Tee, Female (1/4"-18 NPT) $4.99

https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web/PartSearchCmd?storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&pageId=partTypeList&actionSrc=Form&searchTerm=1%2F4+x+1%2F4+x+1%2F4+npt+tee

If using the above compression fittings you will need high pressure Ferrell's I used these I got a bunch because I didn't know how many times I would have to change this but I am sure you can find these in smaller packs they take a long time for delivery...

LOT 10 Fit 3/8" Tube 304 Stainless Steel Compression Ferrule Insert Ring Fitting

https://www.ebay.com/itm/LOT-10-Fit-3-8-Tube-304-Stainless-Steel-Compression-Ferrule-Insert-Ring-Fitting/182626673879?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

(*****) and one of these...

American Grease Stick Co. Brass Union Tee, Female (1/4"-18 NPT) $4.99

https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/american-grease-stick-co-brass-union-tee-female-1-4-18-npt-blf-71c/11408155-P?cm_mmc=ET-_-Trans-_-Confirmation-

The gauge I bought is this...

LIQUID FILLED PRESSURE GAUGE, 2.5" DIAL DISPLAY, STAINLESS STEEL CASE, BRASS INTERNALS, 1/4 MALE NPT LOWER MOUNT CONNECTION, DUAL SCALE PSI & BAR (0-2000) $14.45

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N1V3XUO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

depending on how many nozzles you plan on having buy these accordingly ...

High pressure Cooling 10* Brass Misting Nozzles + 5* Slip Lok Coupling Tees  $11.90 for 5 pcs

I bought the ones with the compression fittings and put 3/8 inserts from home depot in the hose to be safe inserts are not needed but they made me feel safe.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Low-High-pressure-Cooling-10-Brass-Misting-Nozzles-5-Slip-Lok-Coupling-Tees/122571193686?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=422994416586&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

then you need the correct nozzles for the height of your ceiling. My ceiling is only 7 feet high so I ended up getting the .1mm I would guess anything blow 10 feet this is what you would want and this is a great deal right now only $20 for 10pcs...

Mist Nozzles .10mm/.004", nickle coat, ceramic tip, anti-drip cleanable 10 pack $20.00

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mist-Nozzles-10mm-004-nickle-coat-ceramic-tip-anti-drip-cleanable-10-pack/132020912341?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

then you need a ball valve to allow just enough water to flow to the inlet of your filter so the pressure washer does not cut off. I bought this...

3/8" Ball Valve Comet General AR Pressure Washer Ball Valve 7250 psi $23.50

https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-8-Ball-Valve-Comet-General-AR-Pressure-Washer-Ball-Valve-7250-psi/261120959550?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I also bought this just in case the ball valve breaks and lets the full pressure go through. I don't want 1500 psi going through my house water pipes and busting a pipe behind a wall...

VA CV-5000-08-08-5 - 1/2" Female Pipe High Pressure Check valve - 7 PSI Crackin $16.28

https://www.ebay.com/itm/VA-CV-5000-08-08-5-1-2-Female-Pipe-High-Pressure-Check-valve-7-PSI-Crackin/172512802356?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

and the last thing I think you will need besides all the pieces and adapters to connect your piping together is nylon hose it takes 2 weeks to get it from this link but it is way cheaper...

5/10/20/40M High/Low Pressure Nylon Pipe PE Tube Hose for Mist Cooling System $10.96 for 15 feet

https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-10-20-40M-High-Low-Pressure-Nylon-Pipe-PE-Tube-Hose-for-Mist-Cooling-System/253749308150?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=553024904510&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

The system above should be able to run 75 .1mm nozzles. I am running 5. if you do not use the .1mm nozzles use this chart to figure out how many you can run...

https://docs.zoho.com/sheet/published.do?rid=9jhz5292c7a782ae24b2999c040f2895fc8df

My house has 1/2 galvanized pipe that is why I used these sizes adjust yours accordingly

Don't forget a water filter either or your nozzles will be stopped up quickly

anyway IM me if you need more help.

If someone reads this in the future and the links don't work you can find the parts using the name above the links that are in red. Google is your
friend!!

The picture shows how everything should be ran. Once everything is together turn on the water in from house. Then turn off the cut off valve connected to the 3/8 nylon hose and misters. DO NOT START THE PRESSURE WASHER WITH THIS VALVE OPEN you could and probably will blow something. Then start the pressure washer. The pressure washer should turn on then turn off. Check for leaks. If you find leaks these should be fixed before continuing. Now slowly turn the cut off valve on that is connected to the 3/8 nylon hose and misters not the main water in from the house this valve should already be on. Turn the cut off valve Just until the pressure washer start to run and not cut off by its self. You should hear a load on the pressure washer. You want this valve to be closed as much as possible with out cutting off the pressure washer.

Water pressure cut off switch added...

Link to what I bought for the pressure switch...

https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/25473018

I hooked up the pressure gauge the other day and forgot to update. The system is running at 1275 psi. So a lower psi pump should work also. I was questioning how much pressure I was getting having it hooked up like this. Assuming that the pressure washer  puts out 1450 psi as is stated on the washer then I am loosing 175 psi. 1275 psi is well above what is needed for the misters to perform.

Low side psi before the filter pic pressure washer not running (above)

Low side psi before the filter pic pressure washer running (above)

High side psi pic (above)

I know the low side pics look backward. In other words it seems like the pressure would be higher when the washer is running but this is not the case the pictures are correct.

That's really pretty interesting, never thought of utilizing a pressure washer. I hope it's not close to a bedroom, that noise every 10 minutes would be horrible! Is the pressure washer too high wattage to plug into your humidity controller?

LOL I was just working on this. I am going to build a sound reducing box for the pressure washer. It is right under my bedroom.

The pressure washer takes 11.5 amps at least the one I got. The Humidity controller is rated at 10 amps. So I have an outlet connected to a 15 amp relay so the only amperage going through the humidity controller is what the relay uses which is almost none. I looked up the 15 amp non latching relay I wanted on...

https://www.mouser.com/Electromechanical/Relays/_/N-5g31

and then found it on ebay or amazon for 1/2 price

I discus using the relay in the second video.

I have only been Running the room for about 4 days plus I ran it for a day empty. I was afraid of putting bags in there before testing it. So a total of 5 days. I am interested in seeing how long the pressure washer holds up. But that's why I bought the 4 year plan to cover it if it breaks. Then their are other options to get it replaced for free that I won't go into here. But if you use your imagination I am sure you can figure it out.

Especially since someone Wrote up a tek on how to do it. Remind me to thank that man. He is awesome. LOL

I don't think a lot of people are interested in this. Barely any response.

Yeah, I'll be honest. I skimmed it the first time with it being so thick. Then I saw your post about how people weren't interested and you do have videos of it. I watched the video, then decided I had to really read through this.

It's awesome. I book marked it for future use. I'm sure people will come around over time.. it's aimed more at the commercial grower so it could take some time but really man, good job for taking the time and money to put something like this together, especially for the price.

    #25503809 - 10/01/18 05:52 PM (5 months, 19 days ago)

As far as how many times I run it? I don't know. It runs from a willhi humidity controller. The controller is set to turn on at 90% humidity and go off at 93% humidity after it turns off the humidity continues to rise to 97% humidity.

It runs for 10 to 15 seconds every 12 minutes. I think this could be reduced with more misters. But I don't want bags getting wet or puddles in the floor so I will keep it this way. Anyway I done the math which you might want to recheck. But what I come up with is it runs for 30 minutes a day.

I went to a kw calculator and from my understanding it draws  1.38 kw. I think I pay .08 cents a kwh. from my calculations which need to be checked. I come up with 11 cents a day. If someone finds my calculations to be wrong please let me know. It may be half that because it only runs for 1/2 hour. OK I am officially confused. Could someone give us the correct answer.

This a good question as well as an important one. Good Job mindblowing for asking the question! I never even thought about it.

you're a madman! i'm pretty appreciative i've seen your post too man, i'm pretty lazy for the electrical work (i think i'd work around it by using an electric timer kicking in and out frequently) but am super keen to try one of these badboys on for size soon. as you saw on the other thread i've been using the mister bucket (the bucket/fan/mister was $90AUD total) but i've seen a distinct decline in efficacy from the mister and want a better solution. pretty sure i'll be able to get the parts cheaps from aliexpress or wish. thanks again

edit: i checked aliexpress, they have some cheapish looking systems but i reckon they'd break quick, i'm pretty curious to see what you think of this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/S083-ENTENCO-12m-40feet-Misting-Cooling-System-With-12V-60W-Micro-High-Pressure-Self-Priming-Diaphragm/32910612787.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.31.527d3357OcA5gc&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5_10065_10068_10130_318_10547_319_10548_5727315_10696_450_10084_10083_10618_452_535_534_10307_533_532_10131_10132_10133_204_5727215_10059_10884_10887_100031_320_10103_448_449,searchweb201603_60,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=e42b8c1a-b8a6-450b-a547-2c5748a47aa4-4&algo_pvid=e42b8c1a-b8a6-450b-a547-2c5748a47aa4
