Man pretty cool to see you have such good long term success with this. I was one of the only people to comment on this for quite some time.
I think I will put a room together with a pressure washer based on your setup when I get a warehouse for edibles. My current room would rot with water leaks.

Thank you for your response! I would enjoy the opportunity to speak further on getting a kit setup.
I have been using a digiten humidity controllers with great success on other tents (10 amp limit, but I am no stranger to wiring relays). model for reference: https://www.amazon.com/DIGITEN-Controller-Humidistat-Dehumidifier-Humidifier/dp/B07CSVN892/ref=sr_1_3?crid=T557GKF0VCT3&keywords=digiten+humidity&qid=1652243680&sprefix=digiten+humidity%2Caps%2C134&sr=8-3
I was thinking about going your route with an extended warranty on the pressure washer, but with that refurb units price, I might just get two of them. That way I can have a backup on hand if I have a failure and switch it out right away.
One area I am looking at straying from your design is I have a 400gpd RO system with an expansion tank. I am going to have to look at whether I can plumb directly into the expansion tank as the water feed line for the pressure washer. My water where I live is insanely hard without heavy filtration and can clog a shower head nozzle in months. (and most filters as well) I will have to make a run to the plumbing store to get parts to test what the pressure drop is at 1.5gpm with a 1/2 inch line (its 1/4 inch currently) With that said, I would still like to get the parts for a garden hose as well so I can bypass the RO system if it fails.

congratulations brother, impressive, very good job, I have read and followed this post for more than 1 year and the truth is that I have not found a better solution than this, now that I have my room I will be able to implement this, when Im ready to start I will see if I buy the kit with you or I dare to build it myself, the truth is that with all the effort, experience and validation time it is very worth buying directly from you, I will be writing later, greetings from Colombia

I am sorry I thought I responded to you earlier. My new design uses a garden hose to connect to the system and the new system only draws under 1 amp for the controller/timer although you have to connect to another 15 amp outlet. In other words, you need two plug-ins, not two separate outlets. A standard outlet with two places to plug in a device is perfect. The humidity controller will only draw under 1 amp. The way I designed it you can use any humidity controller/timer that can handle 1 amp or above most can handle 10 amps so no problem using my system. There are many problems when trying to use a pressure washer. I have solved them all in a good-looking unit that works great!!
If you have any other questions? I am happy to answer them all!!

I am happy you like what I have done with the system. To be totally honest this thing is badass!! If you decide to build it yourself feel free but realize it is not as easy as just hooking up misters to a pressure washer you will burn up the pressure washer. Then there is the problem of the high amp load of the pressure washer being over 10 amps so using most humidity controllers or timers is not possible without some ingenuity. Then you have to worry about the water being cut off for any reason. Again this will burn up the pressure washer. All these problems have been solved in a good-looking easy setup. It would be hard to build the system under what I charge anyway. But the choice is yours. I will give you a good price on a system with high-quality parts. So just PM me if you would like to purchase a system. If not good luck on the build you can do it but it is not easy and you will probably have more in it to figure it out than just buying a built system that works!!

Am I missing the pictures? I clicked the link in your profile and it brought me to a post on this page which had been deleted. I'm dying to see what this magical contraption looks like, especially after I read your comment about using a PRV to prevent the cataclysmic damage to your house plumbing that would ensue if the ball valve broke.
May I ask what PSI are you running the mister nozzles at? Also, it seems like most people use ultrasonic foggers but I also think misters are pretty nice when set up correctly. Have you ever tried using a booster pump with expansion valve and solenoid? The reason I ask is because I wonder what the longevity of the pressure washer will be when it's subjected to so many on/off cycles throughout a day. Also booster pumps are super quiet and durable, and the part most likely to fail is the solenoid which is cheap and readily available.

Oh wow, I don't know what happened here. It looks like it is gone. I spent a lot of time on this post!!
I run 1000 psi through my system. Ultrasonics are nice when they are working. You need to spend an hour a week cleaning your ultrasonic to keep it working properly. I change a filter once a year. NO cleaning!! The system pays for itself the first year in the cost of your labor for cleaning the ultrasonic.
I will see if I can figure out what happened. I built this for the first time like 5 years ago and I am still on the same pressure washer. But I have taken some time off. I would guess my pressure washer has been running for 3 years with no problems at all. Everyone will be different though my pressure washer runs for 10 to 15 seconds every 10 mins and I just leave my exhaust on 24/7. So it has short cycles and long rest times. I bought a 4-year warranty plan with my pressure washer thinking I would need another one but it turns out that was a waste of money any way it was worth buying the warranty. The nice thing about this system is if the pressure washer stops working I can run down to the home depot and pick up a pressure washer for under $100 I don't have to pay $800 for a mist pump and have to wait forever.
A booster pump will not give you a small enough droplet size you need 1000 psi.
To be honest the one-way valve is not needed. The water pressure on the low-pressure side actually drops when the pressure washer is running.
