Hey hopefully you can help me with some confusion I'm having with the parts list. Mainly the pieces sourced from advance auto- I am including an edited version of your post to make it easier

$250 for all the parts below be aware you will need connections to connect to your house pipes and a filter.

!!UPDATE 8/25/19!!

Ok so I am impressed! This thing has lasted about a year. Today is 8/25/2019 and is still going strong with no signs of stopping. The best thing is I have not had to do any maintenance at all. And the mushrooms love the environment it creates. For the price, I would definitely do it again. Trust me this is the best thing I have done for the mushrooms. I wish I would have done this before I wasted my money on house of hydro pond foggers.

*****I have revised some of the parts anything that has been revise I will put this at the beginning (*****) to make it easier to find. This is a work in progress guys.*****

Anyone trying this or planning to try this in the future BUY THESE NOW This is an awesome deal and the people are great. These usually cost $6 to $7 each and they work better than any other nozzles I have tried they are 10 nozzles for $20 GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN THIS WONT LAST LONG!!...

Mist Nozzles .10mm/.004", nickle coat, ceramic tip, anti-drip cleanable 10 pack

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mist-Nozzles-10mm-004-nickle-coat-ceramic-tip-anti-drip-cleanable-10-pack/132020912341?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
^Got these
I had a hard time finding the parts also. Remember depending on what washer you get. you need to be able to connect 3/8 high pressure mist hose to it. I bought this It might be a good idea to get amazon prime to save money on shipping B4 you buy...

Sun Joe SPX1000 1450 PSI 1.45 GPM 11.5-Amp Electric Pressure Washer $69.99
^I have a nearly identical ryobi ready to sacrifice for this
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BGTLT9K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and this to connect the hose. You can use this on any power washer with a M22 15MM connection...

HOSE ADAPTER FOR M22 15MM TO 3/8" $ 15.00

https://www.obsessedgarage.com/collections/pressure-washing/products/hose-adapter-for-m22-15mm-to-3-8
^Grabbed an identical one at home depot for ~10bux

then you need 2 of these...

Brass 3/8 x 3/8 MNPT slip Lock Male Connector $9.99

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brass-3-8-x-3-8-MNPT-slip-Lock-Male-Connector/332791870612?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
^Ended up with nickel plated brass version of the same thing because seller only had 1 at the time(and offered me the npb version as an alternative)
(*****) If you want to monitor the pressure you will need two of these...

American Grease Stick Co. Brass Compression Connector, 3/8" Tube, Male (1/4"-18 NPT) 2 x $3.99

https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/american-grease-stick-co-brass-compression-connector-3-8-tube-male-1-4-18-npt-cf-17c/11408076-P?cm_mmc=ET-_-Trans-_-Confirmation-_-General#utm_source=et&utm_medium=trans&utm_campaign=confirmation&utm_content=general
^I dont have these yet just because of confusion with the other part(s) from advance auto....They did say not for high pressure use, would you recommend any alternatives or no/not really since you just gave the "1year/allclear"

For the pressure monitor you will need one of these also...

American Grease Stick Co. Brass Union Tee, Female (1/4"-18 NPT) $4.99

https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web/PartSearchCmd?storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&pageId=partTypeList&actionSrc=Form&searchTerm=1%2F4+x+1%2F4+x+1%2F4+npt+tee
^this one just brings you to Advance auto search page and not a specific item, I assume it is the same as the one listed below because the titling is the same but the link provided is different, so 2 questions here, 1 is that assumption correct, and 2 do I need 2 of these(1 for each pressure gauge?)
If using the above compression fittings you will need high pressure Ferrell's I used these I got a bunch because I didn't know how many times I would have to change this but I am sure you can find these in smaller packs they take a long time for delivery...

LOT 10 Fit 3/8" Tube 304 Stainless Steel Compression Ferrule Insert Ring Fitting
^GOT EM
https://www.ebay.com/itm/LOT-10-Fit-3-8-Tube-304-Stainless-Steel-Compression-Ferrule-Insert-Ring-Fitting/182626673879?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

(*****) and one of these...

American Grease Stick Co. Brass Union Tee, Female (1/4"-18 NPT) $4.99

https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/american-grease-stick-co-brass-union-tee-female-1-4-18-npt-blf-71c/11408155-P?cm_mmc=ET-_-Trans-_-Confirmation-
^repeat I was referencing above- the link on this one works, 2 of these^?
The gauge I bought is this...

LIQUID FILLED PRESSURE GAUGE, 2.5" DIAL DISPLAY, STAINLESS STEEL CASE, BRASS INTERNALS, 1/4 MALE NPT LOWER MOUNT CONNECTION, DUAL SCALE PSI & BAR (0-2000) $14.45
^got 2
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N1V3XUO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

depending on how many nozzles you plan on having buy these accordingly ...

High pressure Cooling 10* Brass Misting Nozzles + 5* Slip Lok Coupling Tees  $11.90 for 5 pcs
^ I bought one order of these, how many do I need(I ordered the 10 nozzles pack off ebay referenced at the top of the post )(sorry if this is obvious once I start piecing it together, right now im clueless)
I bought the ones with the compression fittings and put 3/8 inserts from home depot in the hose to be safe inserts are not needed but they made me feel safe.
^are these different compression inserts than what you ordered off ebay, or the same thing just more expensive/locally available
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Low-High-pressure-Cooling-10-Brass-Misting-Nozzles-5-Slip-Lok-Coupling-Tees/122571193686?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=422994416586&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

then you need the correct nozzles for the height of your ceiling. My ceiling is only 7 feet high so I ended up getting the .1mm I would guess anything blow 10 feet this is what you would want and this is a great deal right now only $20 for 10pcs...

Mist Nozzles .10mm/.004", nickle coat, ceramic tip, anti-drip cleanable 10 pack $20.00

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mist-Nozzles-10mm-004-nickle-coat-ceramic-tip-anti-drip-cleanable-10-pack/132020912341?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

then you need a ball valve to allow just enough water to flow to the inlet of your filter so the pressure washer does not cut off. I bought this...

3/8" Ball Valve Comet General AR Pressure Washer Ball Valve 7250 psi $23.50

https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-8-Ball-Valve-Comet-General-AR-Pressure-Washer-Ball-Valve-7250-psi/261120959550?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I also bought this just in case the ball valve breaks and lets the full pressure go through. I don't want 1500 psi going through my house water pipes and busting a pipe behind a wall...

VA CV-5000-08-08-5 - 1/2" Female Pipe High Pressure Check valve - 7 PSI Crackin $16.28

https://www.ebay.com/itm/VA-CV-5000-08-08-5-1-2-Female-Pipe-High-Pressure-Check-valve-7-PSI-Crackin/172512802356?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
I have the comet ball valve/check valve listed just above this/and nozzles(assuming they are the ones mentioned at the very top of the post and that they were mentioned TWICE, would appreciate confirmation)
and the last thing I think you will need besides all the pieces and adapters to connect your piping together is nylon hose...

High Pressure Tubing -Nylon - 1500 PSI Rated $1.49 per foot (MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE 3/8 TUBE)

https://www.mistcooling.com/high-pressure-tubing-nylon.html

Getting some^, how much length would you suggest at minimum?

I will work on clearing up your questions in my tek. Thanks for the heads up.

Sun Joe SPX1000 1450 PSI 1.45 GPM 11.5-Amp Electric Pressure Washer $69.99

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BGTLT9K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

As long as this piece that you got from home depot fits the pressure washer you are fine.

Yessir , that part was clear from your original posts wording I just didnt want to leave anything out since I was reposting the list and didnt wanna waste your time having you doublecheck whether I had the stuff I had erased or not written a note on
(btw they have both the male and female style at home depot so it shouldnt be a problem if you have an oddball pressure washer that needs the male fitting instead.) I appreciate the quick response, sorry to be the idiot that makes you idiot-proof the post but I thank you and I'm sure plenty of others like me will also appreciate the clarity as well. Excited to slap it all together next week! :thanx:

I appreciate you letting me know about the confusing parts. I want it to be easy for the people that want to build this. God knows it was not easy for me. That is why I made the tek for people that have the need and don't know where to begin. I want to see a video of this thing running once you get it done and please post your thoughts on it. So people know this is legit. I have a feeling people think this is not for real. You are only the second person I know of that has built this. Not including me. You will love it.

I Pm'ed the links(I just now realized they aren't the same item though I do think they're convertable to the same item(just made of 2 pieces instead of one) for about the same total price and likely local availability:thumbup:)(EDIT SHROOMSISAY01 sent me concerns on the style I proposed, I will test it out and report back   )
Thanks you made everything super clear, especially
-reminding me the 2nd pressure gauges connections are dependent on my home connections,
THE FILTER! I had completely forgotten to even ask about it and wouldve been clueless-thanks for the hassle free direct link!
The hose recommendation- -measure,measure,measure+~15ft great advice Thanks!

If you would post some pics of your actual setup and results this would be much more interesting. BTW unmodified tubs are set and forget if done properly and considering there are no benefits to modified tubs. Back to the point, I want 30lb of oysters a week so show us how you make it happen. :begger:

Man i am really interested in this setup, ill probably build one of those for me one day. Just didnt do it yet because i have a hard time buying most of those parts where i live (Brazil) and also because i bought a "industrial" 10 head pond fogger from china (Aliexpress, about 70 Bucks) that produces a massive fog and is very sturdy. Here in Brazil its much easier to buy things from china than from the US (the shipping costs are much much lower).

I am not sure what you would like pics of. There are videos at the begging of the tek. If you would like something else let me know. I'll take the pics if I know what you would like pics of.

30 lbs of oysters is not hard. I spawn 20 bags every week on the 3rd week you put the 1st weeks spawned bags into fruiting. As long as you keep spawning each week and putting bags in fruiting you will have at least 30 lbs each week.

I went through two 9 head foggers in 6 months at $300 each. That is what started this whole thing in the 1st place. Make sure you have some air stones in the water bucket or they won't even last that long.

Thanks for reporting on this.  So the issue with house of hydro ultrasonic fogger was that is broke down?

I have one of those right now.

While it worked was it as good as what you got now?

House of hydro pond foggers was not even close to as good as what I have now. The mushrooms are much happier and I have not even thought about the system since I put it in. Other than replacing the cheap hose I bought. There is no maintenance at all now. I have not even replaced the filters in the filtering system. I would not go back for anything. What I have now just works to well. I honestly did not think it would work this well or this long. When The Dom gets his built he will tell you that it works perfectly. I built this just to get through until I could make enough money to buy a high-pressure pump. I will not be buying a high-pressure pump now. There is no need to. The only problem is it is loud. But if that was a problem for me. I would build a sound deadening box for the pump.

Very cool idea, I want to look more into this for sure, Did you come up with the idea by yourself or was it based off of another setup? Sorry i didnt have time to read the whole post yet.

I came up with this myself. It is not based on another build. I was told it could not be done with a power washer. So I almost did not try. 1 1/2 years later it is still going. I am working on an Arduino controller to use with the power washer fogging system. I will be selling the premade shield to plug into an Arduino.

Hi SHROOMSISAY01

What do you think of lower pressure system?
To operate in about 100psi instead of 1000psi?

I saw this pump, there is also a picture of water spraying nozzles a bit down.

It would be nice to operate something 12V as main power supply deteriorates more and more in the shithole.

Or 100psi will not be enough to make a fine mist? Or it depends on nozzles?

No 100 psi will just get everything wet you will have to hot use high pressure to get a fine enough mist. 100 psi is about 25 psi higher than my regular water pressure. It is not enough in my opinion. You are going to have to get up to about 800 psi to be effective but 1000 is recommended.

I have a kit available now. Feel free to buy all the pieces separately. But it will cost you more than buying the kit and finding the correct parts will take a long time. Then you have to wait for shipping. Do yourself a favor buy the kit and never have to worry about humidity again!!

I know this is an old thread, but maybe somone is still looking at options on a lower pressure system. this nozzle is capable of 1-5 micron droplet size at 75psi air pressure @5 cfm and 15 psi water pressure supposedly the nozzles are pretty maintenance free. i want to give this a go in the future for my grow room. https://myersmushrooms.com/shop/ols/products/hart-ultimix-nozzle-kit here is a link to the manuf web site https://www.hartenv.com/dust-suppression.html scroll down the page for info on its various uses. hope this is useful to someone.  Matt
