Hey y'all! Eight different specimens here for your consideration please... any chance I have Psilocybe this time...? Thanks so much, I always appreciate your expert opinions.

Never say never. There are cultivators and guerilla growers and old spawn compost.. Ovoids grow in Michigan as far as I know. You have water and not a terribly deep freeze and wood decaying with streams near lakes and shit right? Knock up a bag of grain and make a patch. You might have a weird season (or two short ones idk) but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
If you want to pick magic mushrooms for more than 1 year it's a good payoff for time invested. Probably less time than walking around not knowing what you're doing. A little study and you'll be good. Check the search engine for your state and add "psilocybe" or "panaeolus".

You should search this website or Google for magic mushrooms psilocybe [state] without the ][ and see what other people are finding. Mushroom observer is great for this, too.
Picking everything is doing the ecosystem a disservice. You need to turn back to page 1 on basic identifiers in the psilocybe (or panaeolus) genus.

They're not active nor edible. Likely make you sick. I'm unaware of a poison profile at the moment (old flip phone). They can't taste very good.
Is it even mushroom season there or are you just hoping to find an out of season non-native? Don't get me wrong there's diamonds in the rough that can be found but very rarely.

I've been althrough this site and although I believe it's absolutely the best, I'm only able to see it on my little phone which is why I turn to the board for clarification. Thank you everyone, I appreciate you!
