Anyone familiar with using Activated carbon to clean the impurities from DMT in naptha or heptane?
When I do my ReX normally it can take me 2-4 times to achieve a pure white/clear crystal or powder depending on my patience when crystallizing. The yellow oils from the bottom get crystallized/waxed as well to go for changa.
In my understanding of the A.C. cleaning process I would essentially loose these waxes in the carbon which I could get over if it saves me from so many washes.
Can anyone share their experiences and yields?

I understood activated carbon was used to clean the solvent from impurities, not from alkaloids at all.
It comes from wanting to be kinder to the environment by using less solvent, as much as wanting to save a couple of bucks.
To get a cleaner product more quickly try a backsalt. (also known as a mini A/B) Redissolve your DMT in clean acidic solution ~ph4, base to 12+ and repull with fresh naptha and freeze precip slowly. Should leave behind all the oils in one go, technically. Sometimes a bit gets through but it's mad effective.
