Looking around the Puget Sound area..
    #2544335 - 04/09/04 07:10 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

I've been looking around a little, with no luck of any mushrooms. I am curious if this is a little bit too early this year to be looking around for active mushrooms. I know Pan. Subbalteus have been found in previous years this early in April, but I am wondering if anybody has found any yet this year, and if I should keep looking around.

You might be able to get lucky and find some Psilocybe Stuntzii. I know that it is possible this time of the year but you just got to get lucky and be in the right place at the right time.

It is possible for pan subbs to be out too but i have not been succesfull in finding this mushroom yet.

I think the last time it rained up here was two weeks ago. There just isn't much popping up right now but sprinklered areas may be loving this weather.
