I don't know any of the story and it's not right he got beaten to death but the little I watched ole dude seems more than mildly retarded.
Not sure if it's because he got beat in the head and lit up with mace so many times but he doesn't seem to be able to follow the simplest directions.

Caught red handed? Caught doing what? The police chief said there is no evidence Nichols did anything to warrant a traffic stop.
