Police appreciation thread * 2
    #25442734 - 09/07/18 02:07 PM (5 years, 4 months ago)

This thread is to post anything and everything about the police. Crimes, fuck ups, funny stories, incompetence etc. Think of it as a cop block thread. Ill start first.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2018/09/07/us/dallas-police-shooting/index.html

This cop gets off shift, enters the wrong appartment and fatally shoots the occupant. How the fuck do you walk into someone else's appartment thinking its your own?:justkillmenow:

No kidding. How did she even get in? Does she not lock her doors? Does she have the exact same furniture and lay out? And as koods said, why would she immediately shoot him?

I can get behind a lot of the article's you have sent, but these articles that want to blame everything on the white man are hard to digest. This one, and the violence is necessary article seem to want to blame the world's problems on the white man. Im not sure why they cant write the same articles without referencing and blaming whites. I don't know if its a cop out or if they're just race baiting whites to try and hold the readers attention. I just feel that the white bashing is unwarranted and they can get their points across without such

Just posting for the lols

https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/cop-cutout-stolen-days-after-being-installed-2019

Just days after being assigned to local school zones with the safety of young students in mind, a life-size cutout of a Kelowna RCMP officer cut-out has been “unlawfully removed” from his position outside an elementary school.

Police said that late last week, they were alerted to the disappearance of one of the cut-outs from a position outside AS Matheson Elementary school.

Now they’re urging the public to contact the police if they spot one of the Mountie cut-outs away from school-owned property.

So if you're intention was to show the differences between American vs foreign cops, American being the worst offenders, why didn't you compare best to worst? Why did you choose to compare the worst vs a slightly better offender? Unless your intention was to really spread Russian propaganda.
You harp about sticking to the facts and not "make believing" and here you are suggesting that Russians are purposely martyring themselves by protesting out of line in the hopes of getting arrested (for they can be tortured?), to aid American anti Russian propaganda? Sure, thats a not a stretch at all

As shivas.wisdom explained above, US cops commit at least six time as many murders as Russian cops, while Russian cops only commit 1.4x the number of England and Wales, which is practically the same amount (at least compared to the US).  The point (again) being that the US is FAR worse than other countries.

It's not a stretch at all.  If you think people don't want the attention of being arrested and if you think they are truly afraid of being tortured, then why would they protest in unsanctioned locations?  You tell us a better reason than the one I provided.

So what does this have to do with using the anti police thread as an excuse to post Russian propaganda?

Okay, well still, there was no one discussing  the merits of foreign police departments. You offered up information (propaganda) to clear the air on a issue that nobody was raising. .. so you could probably see why you were accused of trying to spread Russian propaganda. But, i just wanted to clear the air that and probably wont talk about it anymore

In a video shared on social media early Tuesday, a Minneapolis police officer pins his knee against the neck of a black man who appears to be struggling to breathe on the ground.

Ill wait until the whole video is released to pass judgment.

not a ton else to see, just more pinning him down immobile until he goes unconcious, then loading the dead/unconcious body onto the stretcher

it should load fine with the embed coding, but if it does not you may need to log in to youtube because they age-flagged it

As disturbing as the video is, i think he was referring to whether or not the guy chimped out prior to being on the ground. It still doesn't justify it, but we dont know what happened prior to when they started recording, all we saw was the aftermath. But the thing is this bullshit literally happens EVERYDAY. I would see this bullshit on cops routinely and always wondering how these documented cases of police brutality were merely making it onto a tv show and not to any courtrooms for their conduct

Exactly.
Their job is to make the arrest, not punish the suspect in the street for resisting arrest
There are legal charges that would have been filed against him for those actions and seen to it that he faced reprecussion for resisting in a just way

their job as it is in a just society, was to have unpinned him,
tried to put him in the car again,
and restrained him in a different manner if he further resisted

kneeling on his neck in the street for X minutes because he resisted arrest for X minutes
is gangbanging retribution

in other words
he may have

not performing his job as a peace officer
he ain't paid to chimp out in response to others chimping out

The cop was incredibly immature. I have a feeling he only didn't let up because the peanut gallery was telling him to
