Is this a Blusher?

I’m almost certain it is an Amanita Rubescens, I just want someone to confirm to be safe.
Found in Ireland, on lawn next to trees. The cap is reddish brown, perhaps a little more red than it appears in the picture. Stains pink where cut or damaged. Tastes mild.

Thanks for the quick reply.
For future reference, is this the only Amanita that stains pink in Europe?

There’s also Amanita rubescens f. annulosulfurea which has a yellow ring on the stipe but is otherwise the same. Those are the only 2 that I know of.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, was gonna make my own but I thought I’d piggyback on Duggstar’s question.
#1: When I picked it I was sure it was a blusher, but to my surprise, gills didn’t turn pink when bruised, however both cap and stipe have definite pink tones. Not the best state, was picked yesterday, dried out a bit overnight.
Could these be Amanita pantherina? Picked #2, no blushing, stem completely white. #2
 #3
#4

All specimens from one site, along with hundreds of russulas, boletes...

Does it taste good ? I also found a lot in June, but didn't picked since I read they are toxic if not cooked properly.

Yeah it tastes pretty good, I’ve had it a couple of times. I don’t think you have to be overly concerned about the toxicity as long as you’ve cooked them fairly well. I read in a book recently that you should boil them and throw away the water that you cooked them in, but personally I think that’s a load of cobblers! When I cooked them I just fried them in a pan and it didn’t do me any harm.

I'm a little bit worried about the ID because I've chopped it up and left it in the fridge for a couple of days, and I've observed no further staining/bruising since, although it definitely looked pink where it had been damaged by insects before. Is this anything to worry about, or does refrigeration stop the bruising/staining reaction?

Amanita rubescens is correct unless the smurfs switched them in the middle of the night.

Lol! So, just out of interest, does refrigeration stop or slow down the staining then?

Some bruise more than others, I couldn't tell you if the fridge had any impact on it or not.

I had those for breakfast this morning, I'm tripping balls! Just kidding, but some of the ones at the bottom of the tub did in fact have some more bruising. I think there must be some correlation with temperature, though, because ones I find in warmer weather tend to bruise much more readily.
