Looks a little wet, but the growth looks alright... even if there is bacteria,  doesn't seem substantial, and should still flush... mixing your sub a little dry to compensate for the extra moisture here should help keep things at bay

Got a question for the veteran shoeboxers, I recently just went gourmet and picked up the HDX brand shoeboxes from homedepot. I love the clear lids and the flat bottom and sides. These 2 features I think are worth the extra buck over the 98 cent sterlite kind. I've also now noticed that the lids on the HDX fit a lot more snugly and are reinforced a lot better will this cause the FAE to be limited in a negative way over the cheap sterlite? Or are the people growing with the HDXs grow the same keeping the lids on or dubtubing them? I've noticed that the HDX dubbed is a lot more sealed up because of how well they are made they tend to fully sit on eachother vs the more flimsy sterlites no matter how well you dub them they have gaps for FAE.

Long story short any changes needed to be considered using HDX premium shoeboxes over the cheap sterlites?

I haven't tried'em but they don't sound like a big deal. Most don't seal perfectly with the lid, but if it's too well sealed you can just put it into fruiting. Plenty people open up their FAE early.

If the dub tub is too well sealed(I doubt it) Then you could rotate the top tub to open some gaps. -or- you can just opt for the plastic bag instead of dub tubbing.

Here's my first, I dubbed them just so I can watch without disturbing them with removing the lids. and my next few boxes, tiger dropped 12 jars 3 days ago, although they seem a bit dry, just gave them first shake.

so... my first two brf to shoeboxes - spawned 5 days ago - are pinning. the GT shoebox has one wild one ahead of the rest of the ~2-3mm pins/primordia. this ever happen to anyone? kinda think it mighta been a pin in the mason jar that got a head start but its just kinda laughable seeing this one big shroom to lead the pack.

anyway... hope y'all are enjoying the long weekend...

That big pin, hes just poking his head up, cuz he wants to get cloned and go to agar.
