Bit of research on psilocybin

Hey everyone, pretty new to this community but I dig it so far.

So I'm a student at my local university, and last semester I had to write something to do with cognitive psych, so I wrote a paper about psilocybin. Its a bit more focused on the medical and scientific side of things (aka lots of boring statistics and numbers and dull, academic tone), but it's got of info about some cool stuff, like how in research even a bad trip usually has a positive on a person long-term.

Anyways, I'd love to hear everyone's take on it, and curious to see if any interesting discussion is sparked from it!

first of all most of this seems more relevant to a clinical psych course. the paper is a finely written lit review.your conclusion paragraph is solid

A few general notes

it's is a contraction for it is

ie, second sentence correction: "its recreational use"

Psilocybin doesn't need to be capitalized in the middle of a sentence.

You have some punctuation errors... hanging periods and semicolons inside of citation parentheses

I would replace the phrase "outline some of the recent research being done" with "highlight the emerging research"

the word following a semicolon is not capitalized

Thanks for reading it, though I'm not really looking for criticism, I handed that paper in months ago. I'm more curious what people think about the content itself, and maybe if anyone has had similar experiences to what participants had in the trials. The sources are available too if anyone's curious

As in the articles and studies I cited in my paper; you probably need access to a research database to get them, but I have access and can get them if anyone wants them. The survey study on bad trips is particularly interesting, and there's lots out out there on psilocybin to treat terminal patients as well.
