Since I like bods unmodified tubs I decided to remodel my grow closet to suit them. I can fit 5 in there perfectly. The door still shuts if I have visitors over, but I generally leave them open to help with FAE because I imagine it can get stuffy in there. The extension wire turned out to be the perfect length so there's no unsecured wires laying around to be paranoid about. The lighting rig is on a 12 on 12 off cycle. There's enough ambient light from them to provide for the shelf up top where I store my jars, so I can fit all my grow shit comfortably in this closet. I'm digging it.

That's a purdy photo, boom boom

shook 4 jars. the ones that look the most suspect. all are recovering well. QUESTION TIME!

i't not been a whole month yet, but can i lay these grains down with some coir for a grow now? i was going to wait until i see a jar pin, but these jars are so moist i figure the mycelia just isn't feeling that itch to piin. here are some photos.

these are the recovering jars

here are the jars that have been consolidating

so are these ready?

Nice. I just removed the blue gasket from all of my tubs and threw em in a bag in a closet. I guess all they really do is absolutely nothing but act like a sponge around my grow.

If i need em later they just pop back in. I also started taking the handles off so they fit closer together without the handles grabbing each other when i slide a tub out

hey bod,

-you take the blue gasket out of the lid, so then do you put your lids on right side up?

Yea I don't really want to remove it but maybe its a hassle having it around when not using the basket. $211 bucks for this one about to find out if it was a good deal or not haha

Looks like the heater control knob is a little bent/loose. People ship these like morons

I'm gonna fill up all of these tubs with a clone here soon and do some of my own testing before I make any decisions like that. I want to test straight into fruiting vs flipping the lid at 80%, and regular misting daily vs set and forget. If there's no big outliers I'll just roll with straight into fruiting with no misting until the first flush because that would be the easiest, and then yeah I'd just toss the gaskets probably.

The 3 lb bag first pic looks perfect but the 5 lb ones seem too wet probably because these aren't meant for 5 lbs

i'm going to see what happens. what does a creamy appearance mean?

today i'm cracking 2 to a shoe box. i'm PC'ing some coir as well. the coir is super dirty because it's been outside.

Kind of a thicker slurpie milk type appearance to the mycelium.
Although it is hard to really determine a clear idea of the contents for me because of the flash I was wondering if that is what had sparked his interest.

guess we'll see. i hope not. might be though. These were heat stressed and there weren't many plate transfers from the master plate that spent months in the fridge and had been handled a few times. there is also a light coat of white mineral on the jars from the Pressure cooker that i have not attempted to clean off. we'll definitely know in a few days.

So far so good

Slight leaks on the seal. Hear a very small pop noise every now and then probably from the petroleum jelly on the seal.
I didn't clean it or anything so I'm guessing a cleaning will fix that right up
