First grow - currently fruiting in bag. SGFC?
    #25420339 - 08/28/18 11:16 PM (2 years, 8 months ago)

I’m working on my first grow, and I’m using some myco bags sold by a sponsored vendor. Currently, I’m trying to fruit right in the bag. I’m thinking about cutting the bag and placing into a SGFC. Could this actually hurt by changing the humidity level by going from a myco bag to a SGFC?

I introduced to fruiting conditions 7 days ago. No pins so far. Can any experienced growers take a look at these pictures and give me your thoughts? Are those hyphal knots?  I think It looks okay, but was hoping for some confirmation. Currently running 12/12 lighting, fanning 3-4 times daily for 90+ seconds.

The pictures aren’t great but I haven’t found a way to get a good shot while it’s in the bag.

Any input is appreciated- Thanks!

As long as you have a similar humdity level inside of the SGFC there would be no difference. I usually wait for pins to start forming before introducing to the fruiting stage though.

How far into pinning do you wait before introducing to fruiting conditions? This is my first grow and I’m just following the instructions as they were given this run, although I’ve definitely picked up some things to do different next time.

Should I stop fruiting and give the mycelium some more time to strengthen up?

Is this a pin, or wishful thinking?

I usually wait until I see about 6 to 12 pins that are around an inch in size. You can't stop fruiting but I would stop fanning/misting 3 times a day. I'd just mist anytime the surface looks dry. I like to have my walls sweating, but not dripping(too much). I also like my surface to have a layer of very small beads of water, anything that's like a normal raindrop is far too big though.

This is an example of when I decide to switch to fruiting. I use 1:4 sub/spawn ratio's in my mini though, so i'm not seeking the densest of pinsets

With mycobags the only FAE they get is from fanning. Do you recommend stopping all together, or decreasing the frequency? What about lighting- Should I keep it on the 12/12 cycle?

I have 2 more bags that are currently colonizing, so I’m planning on waiting for pins before fruiting via SGFC.
