The ending will be where the beginning is * 2
    #25416179 - 08/27/18 08:24 AM (2 years, 8 months ago)

The hour is rapidly approaching! And as usual it seems time is always running out.

The path goes farther than my eyes alone can see, but it starts by clearing the opening.

Its not a question of where the path goes, it matters how long you walk it.

Because at the end of the day we are all looking for ourselves.

This is a poem I wrote about my journey to find myself, and that journey has only just begun.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Metaphorical) Death Of Man
1.
He spoke with the Hindus
"We are at peace” they said
He sat a while and rested with them
But he did not sing the chant because he did not believe
They said “Chant with us”
He made a sign to declination but with a smile so they would know they were loved
Later in life he learned
And so did they
He sought the women
In the shadowy doors
Without hesitation
It was a trial
A waking walking gauntlet
He was afraid
And did not know what to do
When the demons descended
Upon his writhing flesh
He let a shriek of terror
And then a sigh of relief
Escaped from his breath
What shall he do
Where shall he go
For even he truly
Did not know
He heard the wind say
“You must forgive yourself”
A great fear overcame him
He would not let go of anger and hatred
Many days passed
The spirit grew weary
He wrapped his sadness in anger and hate
He tried to hide it
But somehow it always came back
He tried to burn it
But it would not burn
He tried to give it away
But no one would take it
He tried to cook it and eat it
But he threw it back up
He was lost but somehow it kept finding him
He tried to run
But it was always one step ahead
He couldn’t understand it
“Leave me alone” he said
“You must forgive yourself” it said
“I hate you” he said
He tried to run again
He ran out of the city
Through the towns
Out to the fields
All the way to the ocean
He collapsed on the shoreline
And foamed from the mouth
Which loosened up the moorings
In his chastened house
On the brink of death now
He forgave himself
To find a peace everlasting
On the knowl wood shelf
And when the body dissolved
Into the earthly floor
He finally found his resolve
In the poorest gore
2.
Its been a long time
And I’ve found it out
Its been a life time
Climbing out this mouth
But I’ve been in hell for
My darkest hours
And I’ve seen the light now
That I’ve climbed the towers
Since the days of dawning
Knew my darkest hues
And the glory morning
Sought my brightest dews
And I’ve been so long now
That I’ve scoured hours
And I’ve found my glory
In the darkest towers
Cause it’s been a long time
And I’ve scoured hours
And I’ve found my refuge
In the darkest towers
Sink the boats of madness
In my lake of doom
And coach the souls of sadness
In my forests bloom
Cause it’s been a long time
Since I’ve scoured hours
And its been a long crime
With my endowed powers
Since I caught the rye in
My cotton fields
And I sought the sign in
My bottom yields
Because it’s been a long time
And I’ve scoured hours
And I’ve been a long crime
In my darkest sours
Because it’s been a long time
In my scoured hours
And it’s been a song line
For I’ve sowed the flowers
Bought the farms of glory
With my rotten tombs
And sought the pawns of story
In my forgotten glooms
Brought the souls of madness
From my lost platoons
Forgot the coals of sadness
In my rotten plumes
Because it’s been a long time
And I’ve scoured hours
And I have lived a long time
Among the flower sowers
And in the after math of
The days to come
Will be the coming mash up
Of the world, as one
So, when the days are dawning
And the night is soon to fall
Look for the skies of warning
Behold the burning sun
Because it’s been a long time
And we’ve gotten through
And it’s been quite a long time
And now we are not the few
So, don’t doubt the now cause
Its soon upon
Don’t be too slow to lap up
The milk of what’s to come
So rest the laurels hearty
Upon the shining wreath
Lest this form depart thee
And test whats underneath
For I have been a long time
In my scoured hours
And I have singed the song line
While counting down the hours
And now the days are coming
Before the souls of men
So bring the farm you bought me
Within my chicken den
It is a spirit rising
Back from the grave
To wet the appetizings
Of The forgotten and depraved
It is a sly conundrum
To conjure up this beast
Its brightness now ansunderen
Upon the meek of bleakest sheets
But yet the light is blinding
And casts shadows upon
He who dares to strive upon it
The holy foolish one
For I have been a long time
In my darkest hours
And I have sought the far sign
With my endowed powers
Sing now the songs of praisal
For the king is soon to come
Bow at the stormy window
Of the holy chosen one
Wring out the cloths of glory
To wet the cracking feet
Bring out the repetuary
And rest the holy seat
Because it’s been a long time
Since I found the towers
And it’s been quite a long climb
To these enchanted hours
So, watch the signs to come now
On the whispering winds
And find the child wrong now
Shall still be forgiven of their sins
I am leaving the internet
And drugs
And friends
And money
And family
To find myself
To find who I really am created to be
Goodbye shroomery
And
Good luck
The natural state is not the state of a self-realized, God-realized man. It is not a thing to be achieved or attained. It is not a thing to be willed into existence; it is there—it is the living state. This state is just the functional activity of life. By 'life' I do not mean something abstract; it is the life of the senses, functioning naturally without the interference of thought. Thought is an interloper, which thrusts itself into the affairs of the senses. It has a profit motive: thought directs the activity of the senses to get something out of them, and uses them to give continuity to itself.
Your natural state has no relationship whatsoever with the religious states of bliss, beatitude and ecstasy; they lie within the field of experience. Those who have led man on his search for religiousness throughout the centuries have perhaps experienced those religious states. So can you. They are thought-induced states of being, and as they come, so do they go. Krishna Consciousness, Buddha Consciousness, Christ Consciousness, or what have you, are all trips in the wrong direction: they are all within the field of time. The timeless can never be experienced, can never be grasped, contained, much less given expression to, by any man. That beaten track will lead you nowhere. There is no oasis situated yonder; you are stuck with the mirage.
You can never understand the tremendous peace that is always there within you, that is your natural state. Your trying to create a peaceful state of mind is in fact creating disturbance within you. You can only talk of peace, create a state of mind and say to yourself that you are very peaceful—but that is not peace; that is violence. So there is no use in practicing peace, there is no reason to practice silence.
If you want to talk higher natural states then you must be subject to dualism, if not efficient in unification/non-dualism. It is a wonderful perspective you have, but in there is naivety and unbalance. That which exerts less force will be pushed away. That is to say, you can't have it one way. That's just wishful thinking. I can make all kinds of river metaphors, but in the end it's not a very good one unless you discuss what it is to be subject to the river. Salmon, for instance, swim up waterfalls. It is a sight to behold. If I'm being honest, your post reads like a really bitter Nietzsche-esque perspective. I'm not trying to be rude I'm trying to give an outside perspective on the thought process. Neitzsche was a non-dualist. That dude "got it." He saw cruelty in all kinds of things, but deep down he thought shit was beautiful.
