The Swam lobbied hard against The Face on Mars being more than a trick of light and hard-wired survivalist pattern-recognition being applied in the wrong situation. He also argued hard against the pyramids of Cydonia (the alleged city on Mars) not aligning with Luxor nor being more than mountains. "NASA won't re-photograph them because they are hiding something." Uh-huh.

Seems the proponents dried up and blew away like they have about every single outlandish phenomenon that CAN BE investigated more fully.

For a "close-minded skeptic", I am batting 1000 in my near 30-year struggle against the dark forces of ignorance. Have yet to be shown wrong even once on paranormal matters.

Keep fighting the good fight, Swami.

One day somebody may come up with something, but that's what skeptics would like to see. It's really not very exciting debunking lame things like the face on Mars. Having something real discovered is where the real excitement is at.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of people out there who just keep bringing up the same old debunked stuff from a hundred or two hundred years ago.

Skeptics have their place, just as everyone on this world does :smile:

I appreciate the stance skeptics play in this game, they constantly re-challenge our faith in spirit...and force us back on the path of reality when we become self-delusional.

Very good job.
