I do like and occasionally love liquid dnb but with some artists I swear I can literally not tell almost any difference between the tracks
Probably my favorite liquid-ish track in a really long time is this one
and
Don't necessarily know what genre this one ultimately falls into but another really peng one I just love the smoooooth arrangements

Fun little video from Judge Bitch about a few raccoons having a night out. Cool song too, guitar-centric retro wave stuff. my favorite part is around 1:57 when the guitar borrows that one hard af riff from Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’.

New video from Carpenter Brut today. The video was made by a German artist called Silver Strain, they make video collages using edited chunks of film from the 70s and 80s to tell a loose story. Content warning: graphic violence, gore, nudity, etc.

Orbital is still keeping up with it. I can't believe Halcyon & On & On is 25 years old.

Haha, I actually really liked that. Cheery lil song, thanks for posting it!
Halcyon remains one of those monumental tracks to me. I listen to it a couple times a year, and I’m always blown away by how great it is. It’s genre defining, era defining, and just so good. Definitely glad to know that Orbital is still outputting music.

Orbital was AWESOME when I finally got to see them live. They are one of my favorite electronic artists.
I haven't listened to the new album yet. Keep forgetting to grab it when I'm home.

You guys probably know this by now, but just in case there’s a lurker out there that doesn’t, here’s the sample source for Halcyon’s vocals. It’s a different electronic music song, and the video is so 1990s. Worth checking out just to see what inspired the Orbital tune.

And since we’re talking about some older musicians, here’s a song from the new album ‘The Trip Home’ that The Crystal Method just released. I haven’t listened to the whole thing, only about half of it, but so far I’m really liking what I’ve heard. Classic Crystal Method stylings with some new sounds and old sounds. Pretty enjoyable stuff.

Last time I saw them was back in 2002, killer set always. I’m trying to go catch them on their tour this Fall, supporting this new record. Again, I really suggest folks look into this Trip Home album, the stuff I’ve heard so far is good.

Hi, if any of you like the movie Halloween, you might be interested in this. Below is the end title song being used in the new Halloween movie. The first one that John Carpenter worked on since the original in 1978. Crazy to think that movie is 40 years old. Carpenter scored it brilliantly, just top notch horror music. Maybe the single most iconic horror score ever. But his work on the new one is awesome too. This song is a sprawling update that stays true to form, but utilizes new elements, such as guitar solos and 80s-style synth elements (courtesy of JC’s son). It’s really cool and I think bodes well for the new movie.
