So we have 3 possible species of psylocybin shrooms in Scotland, according to https://www.shroomery.org/12259/Europe : - Gymnopilus junonius**
Ruled out extremely fast because the dimentions are far bigger(cap 7-20 cm diameter and stem is way thicker in proportion to the cap) - Panaeolus cinctulus*
8 and 10 are the closest ones, but may as well not be. Check if they fit in 1,5 cm to 5,5 cm cap diameter, spore colour (jet black), gills (adnate to adnexed). If you remember to have picked up those ON trees or other hosts (the shroom is saprotrophic) it is a further hint.
I got all those infos on wikipedia.org, so you can (and should) check yourself later to double check. - Psilocybe semilanceata*
Really none of the caps look like it, same for the stems, which are very narrow in P. Semilanceata. The dimentions could be right, but apart from that I can't find similarities. Maybe if you found some on organic matter like dung or decomposing matter it's a good direction. 2 and 5 look the most alike, but far from resembling the shroom. My advice is to do your own research and learn, if you haven't already, the basics of mycology and how to identify shrooms methodologically, I find it real fun.
*DISCLAIMER*
I'm NOT an expert by any means. I just try to do my own research, and possibly help others. Since fungi can vary their appearences quite broadly throughout their life, maybe some young specimens could be the ones you are looking for. Learn which are the DEADLY species of fungi in your area before even considering to consume something that may look like them, and learn how to clearly rule out them. I'm just giving you hypothesis here, and helping to the extent of my knowledge, which is very limited.
Even if you did not find anything good, you'll be broadening your experience, so don't give up and start loving Mushrooms in every aspect
-------------------- Looking for shrooms ATTENTION My Contributions on IDs are to be followed by your own research, as I'm not even close to being a mushroom expert, I'm here to learn too.

You have nothing good, check out the sheep, horse and cattle grazing areas, psilocybe semilanceata is fruiting in parts of Scotland now, particularly the highlands.

Thanks I certainly didn't have my hopes up, due to where I found them and general appearance, although reading Stamets identification guide book, page 148-149, they could possibly be P. Strictipes, due to where they have been located, I have dried these slightly and they have followed similar description by Stamets, faded to straw/ light yellow, although he does mention that these sometimes bruise blu-ish this doesn't seem to be the case with these. I will get myself out and about in places to find more easily identifiable Psilocybe.

How the hell do you get panaeolus mushrooms to stay intact everytime i think ive found cincts by the time i get to spore printing theyre complete mush. I must add that it is a long journey to get to my spots so i need a way to stop them getting mushed. Never have this problem with libs.

I found hundreds of these outside my home, so no problem getting the spore prints.

You are most likely collecting coprinoid mushrooms instead of panaeolus and never use a plastic bag for collecting or transporting mushrooms.
