Be careful. Its easy to make oats too wet. Make sure theyre completely dry on the outside

I havent had any problem. I usually put about 10 qts cooked on a 3X3 framed screen and leave them outside. I toss them around 3-4 times every 15-20 minutes. By usually, I mean I have done it 4 times... So... thats not many.

I took a squiz at Stamet's table of medicinal benefits from different mushrooms, and for "anti bacterial" and "Immune system" qualities theres reishi, turkey tail, shiitake, and cordyceps listed.
So get cultivatin'!
Sorry for the late reply dude.
Stamets' table might say a lot, but AFAIK, the only mushroom that's gonna be good enough at killing Borrelia to make a difference is the birch polypore, and there's no need for anyone around here to try and grow those since they're so unbelievably abundant. I've known that for quite a while, yet haven't actually tried it. Gonna be doing just that the coming days!
And thanks everyone for the wellwishes n all, appreciate it!

That's the spirit!
I feel the same way actually.
Confession: Yesterday I wanted to sterilize my PP plates, so stashed 40 of em in a PP bucket, put the lid on with a spacer between the lid and the bucket, ran the cycle, opened back up, and found the spacer on the bottom of the sterilizer with the bucket collapsed inwards, pushing and slightly deforming all of the 40 plates. Just slightly enough to render them utterly useless, since I find ease in handling an absolute must in petri plates. So in the trash they went.

Shook my jars before 25% colonization because I thought it would expedite the process. Now it feels like it set me back almost a few days =/

Just out of curiosity, since RGS is way to expensive here anyway to use as a spawn base, but what's wrong with it for you?

First batch although i followed directions exactly was too dry, then contammed almost every jar which i have never had happen.. in 10 months i have had 1 bad jar now i have 7 in this one batch. (i don't blame RGS for that.. just something stupid i'm sure) for me myc is just growing stupidly slow in it.. the first batch after almost a month is only about 30% colonized from agar, dumping it tonight cause of contam now.
I dropped agar in a second batch 6 days ago, with more moisture cause the first was too dry (exact directions though) and so far i have maybe 1" of growth.. i know 6 days isn't long but in wbs it would be well over double that by now. I'm just a bit annoyed at the moment. luckily the rgs off amazon wasn't that expensive i think it was like $24 for 14lbs
I'm gonna try to find some good clean wbs this weekend though and start another batch to see.. and i don't think it's genetics as i'm using KSS, pesh and puerto rican.. and all 3 are going super slow.

I keep reminding myself to cut down on the iso before each session, but I always go overboard. Before a recent session, I waited an hour or so cause the stuff was pooling up.
