I new to shrooms and I as just wanting to no wat the most common type of shrooms growing wild in ohio is. Im sorry if this sounds like a newbe question.

PSilocybe caerulipes grows in Ohio in June, July and August in woodchips and beaty bark in public locations such as parks, gardens around homes with well manicured mulch-beds, new restaurants, Apartment/condo complexes.etc. Has a pure white stem which bruises blue.

Cap dries to a leathery straw color.
