Thinking of buying dad a spot x, thoughts?

My dad is in his 70’s and still hits the trap line hard in the winter and solo canoe trips in the summer.  He is gone for days at a time and never real specific on when he’s coming back. 
He is in the middle of BF nowhere Canada with no cell service. 
Anyone use the spot x?  It says it works almost everywhere.  The “almost” part is making me wonder about it.

Haha!  I guess he is.  He loves being out there, can’t be around people too long before he starts getting stir crazy.  Don’t think he’s slowing down any so better tag his ear or get some kinda tracker on him lol

Sounds like a good idea to me. Hopefully you can get him to take it with him; sounds like the type of guy who might gladly accept it to show his appreciation but then just leave it at home when ever he goes out :tongue2:
