Just A Thank You!!! 5

Ok so I know I've gone on... And on... About these flowers but I'm tripping and I have to share.
I've just realized I've never smelled a flower. Maybe caught a whiff in the breeze but never actually stopped and smelled the roses as they say.
These are the best smelling thing I've ever smelled in my life.
I'm so glad I found The Ethnobotanical Garden or I would have never bought, grew or even attempted the things I did this year.
I've learned about and acquired so many interesting plant's thanks to this forum and my inquisitive nature.
I've always loved plants but never as much as I do now.
I just want to thank you all for Everything. I know I can be a pain at times but y'all are always patient and respectful to everyone unlike mush cult.
This is just the therapy I was looking for and I would have never realized it without this forum and the knowledge of its members.
I'm so glad I can share my experiences with you all.
Your Friend, Snakeye

If you hadn't have joined up here then I probably wouldn't have realised how cool Sanseveria blooms are. Back in the day I used to cultivate these in a nursery, never saw a flower and I grew to not like them because, to me, they were just another generic plant that interior decorators were pushing at the time. A trend. I've never followed trends.
If joining up here lead you to smelling a flower for the first time, one you grew yourself, then I'm very pleased. That's all the thanks I need. I've always loved watching n00bies come here and turn into competent growers of their own accord.
The natural world is truly amazing. Learning to grow plants is one way to immerse yourself in that truly amazing and become a better/more complete person. It relieves stress, you learn patience, you learn to accept loss and move on to looking forward to the future.

I've started the hobby 3 or 4 years ago and I came here. I've asked a lot of noob questions and everyone gave me tips and advices.
Now I'm seeing my seed grown cacti blooming like crazy... I learnt how to care for cacti seedlings, I learnt how to graft month old seedlings to pereskiopsis... Thanks to this place and my trials and errors.
I'm now a better person, more patient, loving and comprehensive. I'll keep on growing for sure.

No! Thank YOU Snake for all your kind words and all the beautiful plants you've shared with us.
Just like karode I've never seen the Mother in laws tongue flower before either so without you I would have never noticed how beautiful this plant can be. I have one inside for the fresh air it produces and I'm hoping to see it flower at some point now.
