Infection recovery!

So my first attempt at growing was a total failure. After about 2 months, all the jars had stalled between 1-70% colonization... what a pain in the ass.
So i figured... casings are just chunks of happy healthy myc, and h2o2 kills bacteria... why not just break up my bacterial-infected cakes and soak the myc chunks in h2o2 water? So I broke up the cakes, put all the happy-looking myc chunks into a container and filled it up with h2o2-water and crushed a few caffein pills into it (caffein leads to increased pin development and myc production according to the coffee tek thread in advanced). The next day, I microwaved sterilized a straight verm casing, cased the chunks that were previously infected with bacteria, and put it back into my incubation chamber. Within two days, the myc was starting to show on top of the verm, so i patch cased and it seems to be healthy. No pins yet, but its only been a few days.
My point is, bacterial infection may not totally ruin your crops... If this works, i'll update and you can all salvage your crops from now on. I call it the Frankencasing Tek.
