Albino A+ pins slow
    #25325792 - 07/14/18 01:30 PM (2 years, 9 months ago)

It's been 5 days since these pins showed up up. Are they going slow or should I be more patient

5 days is not very long. Those pins are just very small. Probably too dry and not enough light.

I'm just getting my first flushes of AA+ myself. Conditions do have a lot to do with it but I've found they're slow pinners. I'm day 14 of fruiting conditions in a mini monotub and am still ~4 days from harvest.

Patience is key.

I mist 4 times a day. Should I mist more. I even mist the substrate with a very fine mist .

They feel like a sponge when. I touch then. The casing I put does seem to dry out though

From my limited knowledge misting (when done correctly) does not really water the sub much, it just helps to trigger pinning. Most people water their substrate by dunking it in water for a while to let it absorb. The reason I am saying that I think they are possible dry is because they look so small. You said these pins are 5 days along? Did you mean these pins have been growing for 5 days or you birthed this substrate 5 days ago? Also how big approximately is you substrate? It looks its pretty big but it could just be the picture.

Well I spawned one pound out rye into 2.5 pounds of horse manure .. pre ordered from shrooms supply... Let them colonize in a mycobag. So I have 2 .. 3.5 lb rectangular blocked.not sure if they are considered cakes. I'm a noob.. not sure if I can dunk them. I have wanted to. Biggest one is one inch long today. They grew I'll unload pics

I would probably just let this flush finish them dunk your substrate before the netx flush to let it take in some water

So a 4hour dunk would be optimal?

4 hours seems reasonable. I have never done manure so it could be too long/not long enough. Different substrates absorb the water at different rates.
