Harvested 4 of my GT cakes today, I think I may have been a bit to liberal with the misting as the were pretty soggy . I've still got 1 more cake that's almost done fruting and 5 B+ that should start pinning soon.

Checked the cakes when I got home earlier and saw something which is making me a bit paranoid now.

I'm not sure how well It will show up in the pic but theres a distinct bit of green there right on top of the cake. What's worrying me is of the 5 B+ cakes 3 have those white bits on top so I'm hoping they're not all contaminated with something.

I'm just preparing a new type of Agar - have high hopes for it.
100ml Grain fermentation water (48 hours of fermentation) 1.5g Agar 2g Sucrose
Smells yummy, almost like when you make Beer.

Looks like a possible bacterial infection. The myc and those smaller fruits just don't look healthy. I did just read that you're having some serious heat issues. So maybe that as well.
But, for the record: Just because it's white don't mean it's right.

Why do certain clones I put on agar, make the agar bubble up underneath the clone 2 days later? I'm assuming bacteria? I tried that antibiotic tea agar with green tea instead of black.

That's because trich is a parasitic mold. It's in those mushrooms causing them to deform

It is neat. I've always thought it was interesting that contains cause problems indoors, but not outdoors...
Any thoughts on my bubbly agar problem? It's not from pouring. They appear after the clone tissue is placed
