    #25320828 - 07/11/18 05:57 PM (4 months, 1 day ago)

Habitat:
Where does it grow?
South Louisiana, found growing in my Eucalyptus planter

What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
I have topsoil and a little red mulch
Gills:
White on white

Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
3-4 inches tall, limp

Cap:
White, ruffled

Spore print color:
No clue how to test

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Appears to be Leucocoprinus birnbaumii or similar. Also known as the houseplant mushroom

DISCLAIMER: I am not a professional mycologist, I study the macro/micro taxonomy of mushrooms, but I can make mistakes, I'm human, not to mention identification from pictures is difficult. If you want to eat it, varify all identifications of non actives before doing so, it's up to you to be sure we are right.

That thing looks like the boiled dinner my mom used to throw together around st Patrick's day.  Now you all know why i'm not in a rush to visit my family for dinner.

I forgot to mention they are good for your plants, they help break down the substrate  providing nutrients to your plants.
