Im on g2g "gen" 5 with a MS malabar culture and I'm planning on keeping going until the wheels fall off but I strongly suspect the senescence fears are extremely overplayed.

I did one jar to 10 then took one of those to 10 more then so on. So each new batch makes 9+1master.

cool. Im fruiting tubs of p. mexico from g2 spawn, with another 40 something quarts of g3 on deck.


might do a run of g4 spawn then if you guys think its fine. also just made some g1 golden teacher ms from agar though, so might just spawn n start g2ging that

I don't like going past g3.

If you have 6 clean grain masters you could transfer them to 6-24 bags (g2) and have plenty to work with.

24 bags could yield 6 dry lbs.

No need to expand to g3 imo :shrug:

im kind of in the same boat as Bod. I have jars, and im happy doing what im doing for now. id need to buy a sealer, bags, and prob another PC to get started with bags. Plus id have to LEARN shit. and cummon guys, we aren’t here to learn...:wink:

bags are prob an investment ill make in the winter. before that I’d like to install a cooktop so I can multitask a bit better. my Cadco burner ROCKS but its only a single burner n thus somewhat limiting...

im setup in a cramped basement and im too chickenshit to mess with gas.
