Is this ready to fruit???
    #25315496 - 07/08/18 07:40 PM (2 years, 10 months ago)

Hey guys. This is my first grow so please excuse my noobishness. I’ve been waiting for just about 2 weeks for my substrate to fully colonize. My noob anxiety is making me not want to start fruiting until I’m absolutely sure that It’s  colonized. Is this bag ready or no? Is that healthy mycelium growth on the top? Also the substrate is producing a good amount of moisture that is building up in the sides of the bag, it’s sort of yellowish dirty colored water but there are no bad smells coming from the bag, is this sort of thing normal with mycobags? I was thinking about draining the liquid out, is this a good idea?  Any knowledge or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I usually wait till I see little primordial to form(they look like little white balls that later will turn into mushrooms)but what you have is fine. Proceed to fruiting!

Awesome, thanks for the reply. excited to see my first pins. Should I drain the excess water?

The yellowish liquid is the mushroom's excrement.  Don't worry about it.  If you can easily drain it, I guess it would be better.

The mycelium looks great!
