Cakes are shrinking :-(

So I'm following the Pf-TEK method and everything was going perfect I birthed them and decided to dunk them for 14 hours then left them for 7 days now at a average of 99%/74°F and giving them a good waffing twice a day. So I've now noticed they have gone solid to the touch and shrunk about 30% ..... should I be worried?
Another point to talk about is 1 jar was late so I thought I'd try leaving it in the jar a little longer and wait for pinning as I had seen this on another method do thought I'd try it and that cake up to is doing fine.
Any help would be massively appreciated......I'm a total newb

Is there any blue bruising on them? Sounds like they're drying out.

It's pretty normal to get nervous, especially when you're new to this. Welcome! So, first question, did you let the cakes sit for a week after they got to 100% colonization (the whole jar is white and the cake looks completely done)? Most teks will tell you to wait 1 week after they're 100% because the cakes will shrink and continue to grow. My guess is you probably just birthed a little early and they're consolidating in your SGFC. Totally normal. As long as you're misting and fanning regularly, and your SGFC is raised at least a few inches and is built to spec, you should see pins pretty soon. Pics help. But you're probably just getting first time paranoia. Good luck.

Hi thank you for the reply, everything was followed correctly :-) and I actually left them for 10 days after fully colonisation. The cakes are now solid and almost shrunk 40% now. I think my mistake has been only can no g 1-2 a day and not spraying the sides etc.
Do I just leave them now or can i Dehydrate them somehow there is also slight blue bruising but that was because I got the wrong jars and it was a bit awkward getting them out.

Keep them misted. Surface needs to glisten. Mist directly. No need to fan, a proper sgfc is full of holes. I advise a 24 hour dunk, but dont forget to roll in verm.

The pic on the left looks like the caps have opened up, but they sure are tiny. I'm assuming they all pinned in the jar? If they are stalling you might want to pick 'em
Also:

The verm helps hold in water content so they wont shrink as fast. If you add verm now be careful around your pins as it can damage them.
