"Numberf*ck"

"Numberfuck" -a tribute to dropping my math class this semester-

Clocks ticking slow
Numbers in a row
I lost my mind
long time ago

Banks got your soul
Smoke another bowl
Chalk is there, then it's gone
Might as well burn coal

Simplify your mind
Simplify your life
forget the graphs
forget the time
forget that dollar sign...

Seems like it should keep going, but it doesn't.

That was supposed to be encouraging you to write more of it; sorry if it came off as more like just a sarcastic useless comment.. heh.

I like what you've got so far, I just think it needs more.

I've been there.. stick it in a text file, and save it in a folder on your desktop.. then don't look in there again until you're curious enough to revisit it. When this happens you'll probably be able to add more.

(Just my advice, you do what you want  )

Cool, glad someone's using my constructive advice for once..

I've always found that if I wait long enough that I don't really remember what it was that I wrote, and then revisit the item, I can see it in an entirely different light.

Often I've written things in a "subconscious flow" kind of way (not really thinking about what the words are saying, just basically finding thoughts floating near the surface of my brain, and finding ways to shove them in there.) When I revisit a piece I did this with, I can often very easily pin-point exactly what I was feeling and what I meant by it. Which is funny, because I didn't consciously mean ANYTHING by it when I wrote it. heh.

Sorry, rambling for no apparent reason, heh..
