Dear all,
My co-author and I have decided to release the lecture we did in Arlington Texas 3 weeks ago for free download.
The lecture is based on our book called the Pharmacratic Inquisition.
Please distribute the links to our sites for free video download, as we are very excited to hear everyone's feedback on this sneak preview of our work.
(Please remember to keep the file name the same if you share this file online.)
Download the video at: http://www.pharmacratic-inquisition.com/nontesters/pharmacratic/main.html
Or
http://www.gnosticmedia.com/preview.htm
The video is 40MB to download, and takes about 5 minutes to download on high speed internet or about 3 hours on dialup.
The video is 2 hours in length.

And please detail the archaeological references and evidence used to demonstrate this rather obscure contention.

A good start? I see a fiction writer, a dreamer, a drug researcher, a chemist, a mycologist, a psychologist and so forth, but which/where are the archaeological references that the poster asked for?

I'd first have to ask of you watched the video before posting that. As for archaeological evidence of mushroom use in Christianity, I think that John Allegro is a great start...even Clark Heinrich would be a good follow up - as well as a new book by Jack Herer and James Arthur called The Most High. But this was all discussed in the video.

Jack Herer and James Arthur...
Neither is a trained archaeologist. Just take some entheogens, form a hypothesis while tripping or stoned and run with it. Credentials and study are apparently no longer needed.

great stuff so far. Thanks much for the link. 2 hours of brain candy.
One suggestion... perhaps you could make a nice divX version of your edit that will run in windows media player... mpeg1 file (winmediaplayer and in qt for the mac folks) ? Chances are you could keep the filesize the same by tweaking out the compression settings...
just wanted to suggest some things to make this a good thing better

So...what did you think? I'm curious....
I'm still working on the DIVX thing...I'm new to the techie stuff. The AVI version of the video is over a gig. Any software tips here?
