Potential drying method?

Hey everyone,
I am on my first attempt of a BRF cake with B+. They have been in the SGFC for bout a week now, and I have one massive fruit that has formed, and the veil has broken before any other pins have shown.
I have been reading the forums, and finding that most people recommend a dehydrator, but ATM I do not have access to a dehydrator, and probably wont have access to one until some time next week, and I would like to avoid using the desiccant, so I was wondering if I could setup my herb drying rack and place the fruit on the rack with paper towels underneath and a fan blowing in the general direction?
The herb drying rack is the green mesh rack you can hang from a ceiling, mainly used by flower cultivators.
Any input on this would be greatly appreciated, and apologies if this is posted in the wrong location.

That will get them ready for the dehydrator so the dehydrator has far less work to do.

Put the fan as close as possible, but try to make sure its blowing air across the entire thing

Add a heat source and you've got your self an oversized dehydrator.

If you can get a dehydrator next week your fresh mushrooms should be okay in the fridge.
Sorry guy, the herb drying rack won't do it. Mushrooms just have way too much water in them. You need to get them completely dessicated. It's not like drying weed.
If you keep air moving on them with a box fan you can fan dry them but it can take a long time. You want to get em dry fast.

what i did -
If you have fruits that must be picked well before you can get a dehydrator throw them into a paper bag /w added vent holes and throw that into the refrigerator. I hardly noticed a difference over the course of 5 days when i had to use my fridge in a spot.
Fridge is not a long term solution .. i believe after 2 weeks your starting to push it .. a month tops i think i read? go with 1 week

Fresh mushrooms aren't gonna last 2 weeks before they start to rot. A week is about the upper limit. They are food, so treat them as such.
