Didnt go through everything but on the topic of fae.
I had two jars of pohu oyster and went ahead and did one with no holes in the lid.
About 5 days in the growth was severely stalled to the point it was still just taking off while the other jar was almost fully colonized.
The jars with a full on tyvek lid are the fastest, and were done in the next batch.
I'm almost considering using tyvek as the actual growbag if moisture wouldnt be a problem.
