Missouri mushroom hunting

So I have a basic question that you more experienced members may be able to answer. When going into nature and hunting is it possible that I may come across an "active" mushroom other than on of these three mushrooms that grow wild in my state that?

________Missouri:________
Gymnopilus braendlei***
Gymnopilus junonius**
Panaeolus cinctulus*

I have seen sites on Google that talk about other species being found in Missouri and I want to know if this is possible and I should be looking for these as well or are these stories  simply misidentifications.

Try typing the names of those species you're reading about into the search bar at https://mushroomobserver.org. See what comes up.

Anything's possible but the mushrooms listed in your State will probably be the most common ones found. I'm not very familiar with that part of the world so can't comment further.
