Yeah i have a lot of stuff going on atm. I did mess up back when i first started back up. I basically under sterilized a bunch of rye:facepalm:  but were back up to speed again. I have Rustywhyte starting to fruit. Along with psilos/Azures Pesa-PE, and mazapatec, and menace. Im just fruiting in shoeboxes for the time being. Almost everything I'm running is ms genetics. So I'm kinda looking for some clones from the ms boxes. I should have pics here really soon. Like with in a weeks time frame i should think.

This guy is what I've been kinda working on myself. A pigmentless peu clone. It came from a fruiting plate tho so who knows how well it's gonna perform. We shall see

Cool man. I got some rw and ape colonizing right now. Gonna g2g so I can have a case of each so I can do 2 monos of each.

I under sterilized a whole case of grain when I got back from a break too :facepalm3:

That's another reason I'm in shoe boxes still. Didn't have enough colonized quart jars of the same var for tubs. :oldman:

That's a easy problem to fix tho. Even if ur low on spawn u can g2g some b4 u spawn. But the time u chuck the shoe boxes ill be tripping over monos

Shoe boxes are cool tho. I just haven't done one yet. I used to use cake pans with the snap on lids. I guess that's like a shoe box.

Yeah exactly the dame thing almost. I was never a big fan of them either. For me they required a little more checking on with my substrate drying out. But I guess I've gotten a little better or the environments different here in my new place because I only sprayed these once when I first raised the fae and that's been it.

I still haven't sourced black kow yet locally

Yeah i have a theory that the round ones do better, some of the best flushes ive seen were in round containers. I did trays with the new varieties so i could print and clone them right away.

Right. True. Maybe it was by chance the round ones performed better.

Just a hunch, dont know how to go about proving it, cron had some killer flushes with round tubs, and on a vendor site ive seen some too. I guess also I read that myc growth spreads as far as geographically possible, so I was wondering if a radius boundry is different. Probably stupid, but just something ive thought about, lol.

Heres the coir/bk comparison.
From the start,

4 days in,

6 days in,

And today,partial harvest.

One of the bk boxes was a different isolate, it performed the worst, my 13.7 kicks ass for the most part. Gonna do some more side by sides, its fun.

I've had some sketchy spawn lately. My pan cyan went trich but I can't blame it on the bk. Next clean spawn I have to spare I'll try again.

I love the stuff, the freedom it allows is the biggest advantage, imo. Coir is not hard, nor time consuming to prep, I dont like that i have to time it with spawn, or try to guess how much i need. Ive never done more than a half brick at a time, but i always waste some. And now im really trying not to do too much at once. Gotta keep the wife happy, lol

Well I've got 200 lbs of bk on the side of my garage just itching to meld with some spawn. Biggest challenge is goin to be how to hide it from the wife in the house for the winter lol. :tweak:

Ive been lucky with the shitty spawn, lost a couple after first flush. But so far ive only had one shit out before first harvest

This was shitty spawn

And heres the one that went green before harvest
