my last one colonized in 3 days. That was coir tho.

Wrong tub. It's not supposed to be opaque. It should still work but watch your lighting.

Yea I know. I have clear tubs but they're all being used, and I had some jars ready and said what the hell. :shrug:

my plan is to replace the lid with syran wrap in a week so it gets light. I have 5000k led's over it.

Was that the jars that colonized in a week as well? That seems crazy fast to me. Is it an isolate or clone? If it is, you might have something special there! Good for you!

Yes same jars. It's just MS after 2 transfers from spore. The plate was like a month and a half old sitting in the attic thru that heat wave. Pulled it out and put 1/4 of the pasty plate in each of 4 jars. Shook at 30% which was like 4 days and it finished 3 days after the shake.

Every time I germinated new spores from this f+ print I got I've seen the same growth. It's in fruiting now.

We'll see how this goes :rockon:

Last Monday, 3 days after inoculation.

Yeah i wish i wasnt out of town working for next couple weeks. But i will crank some out and post when i get back. Im kinda hoping other people will try it out and post results. To me it was too cheap and easy not to try it, lol.

Did a bunch of trays this time. Wbs,brf. Couple of my clones and mss from spore prints I made. Most are 1/2pt. A few are 1pt.

I'm still waiting for the tub I did to pin. Colonized lightning fast and now it's taking its time lol.

Thanks, I think the ones with labels are wbs, wich are clones. The rest are brf, mss innoc.

I like the wbs, but i switched brands and my prep was all over the place as far as moisture went. So i did a bunch of brf so i can keep the ball rollin. Hopefully the wbs works out. Found one contaminated this morning. Probably gonna try a g2g today, havent tried that yet. I just have a ton of cultures left that i want to use.

Easiest wbs prep IMO, no soak no simmer. I wash the seeds, boil a big pot of water. When it's boiling good I turn off the heat and dump the seed in. Slowly so u don't burn urself. Then I let sit for 30-40 minutes. Strain and allow to dry. Maybe an hour.

I've never fucked them up this way and they have plenty of moisture. Some burst grains but :shrug:
