So i was drying my first flush 2 weeks ago and they looked like this:

I keep them lying in paper and i let them naturally dry cause i dont have a food dehydrator. They looked normal after they were dry, they looked just like the following, which are from the second flush:

I stored them in a closed tupperware. I had done it previously with other shrooms and i thought that would be fine! After checking back a week after drying the first flush, this is what I find:

They've gone all grey and super fuzzy and it looks like a huge mess of spider web and dust all around them... wtf On top of that, they smell awful... They're gone bad right? Can someone explain what happened or what I've done wrong?

Jesus chrust.. kill it with fire.... They weren't 100% dry.. then in a tupperware you made a perfect place for mold to grow, pretty much coulnd't make a better spot.
You HAVE to buy a dehydrator, they don't cost shit and when you see how nice your shrooms come out you will be so happy you did.

It's hard for me to get one, i cba to explain why. It's 25 degrees celsius in my room, do you think adding a heat mat under the paper would make for better drying? What I'll do is lay my next flushes on paper, but with the heat mat for like 30 degrees or more of temperature, and for longer so they're 100% dry when i store them, then. So this kind of mold can only grow if there's water left in them or what?

If we could dry shrooms by spreading them out on paper towels, we all would have been doing that. Why spend money on a dehydrator that we don't need? Unless you live out in a desert or something. In that case, maybe put them on racks outside.
If you are determined to store them without a dehydrator, then explore making tea or possibly freezing them and making tea later. Or make tea and freeze that. Or perhaps find another way to extract the psylocibin.

No idea why you can't get one.. but if when you dry them and you bend them and they bend buut not break. they aren't dry enough. ANY moisture will/can cause mold/bacterial issues.. first shrooms i did had mold (asshole told me it was spores) i felt like i had food poisoning for 2 days.. was horrible.
As far as drying without a $20 dehydrator.. no idea i never even tried. i know it can take days even with a fan/heat

You can't freeze wet shrooms you'll end up with a mushy mess.

if no dehydrator available, no oven/fan available, maybe find some Calcium Chloride pellets at the dollar store?!

If they looked like the ones in the second pic, then they don't look dry at all.. if you can't get a dehydrator make one.

I would say a dehydrator and good size PC are 2 of the wisest investments a cultivator will make

Yes they've obviously gone bad. What went wrong is you didn't dry them and then put them in a Tupperware

The reasons I don't get a dehydrator are, well, firstly, if I were to order one it would take some weeks and i wouldnt be able to use it for one or two flushes. Plus I live with more people and they would suspect a lot me ordering a dehydrator. If i were to get a local one, well, belive it or not but i checked many stores and theyre like 50€+, believe it or not. What temperature is good for drying? Right now I have my second flush on paper, but with a heat mat under the paper, and its 32 degrees celsius in there, which I think would be okay, even if it takes time. I put the mat a while ago on, the temperature might even rise, from what I read around 50 degrees celsius is ideal for drying, but with a dehydrator you would dry them in a much shorter period time than what I am anyways, so I'm not sure Damn that wasted flush was like 25g... pretty upset

I'm with everyone on the importance of getting a dehydrator, and the fact that there's nothing to substitute proper dehydration.
That said, I air/fan dried my shrooms for many years without ever losing shrooms to mold or rot. And I kept these shrooms for years as well, and they retained potency. The thing is you have to leave them in front of moving air on a rack or something similar for a very long time, until they are cracker dry. Of course, they aren't actually true cracker dry even when they seem like it, but if you dry them this way they should last (although not as well as if properly dehydrated)
That shit in your pic is gross as fuck though.

100%
Keys are moving air and heat. Most dehydrators go ~160f. Really the Dehydrator is going to be the most effective & incognito method. What you're trying op, is gonna make a mess again.
