Fuzzy over growth

Three cakes went into fruiting last Saturday. Since then they developed fuzzy mycelium growing over the vermiculite layer. From Reading other threads I thought possibly it was due to lack of fresh air exchange.
when I made the fruiting chamber I punched holes in all six sides with a heated screwdriver. I found a quarter inch drill bit and measure the holes with it and they were all small. I also had 5 to 6in of Pearl Light in the bottom. When I took out the Pearl Light to enlarge the holes I found that the Pearl Light was compacted to the point that I don't think any are could get through.
Enlarged all the holes and rehydrated the Pearl Light but only put about 3 in in this time and made sure it was not compacted at all. Loaded my three cakes plus three more that just finished their dunk and now we wait and see.

Fuzzys got worse. Moved out of that room to a place that has better air movement.

Before you start...Do you have a Pressure Cooker and a Dehydrator? I highly recommend getting both!

It kinda looks like freezer burn in the pics. Do you have any updated pics? How was your mist and fan cycle going?

No fanning is required....outdated practice.

Run a fan a few times a day for 30-60 minutes, NOT pointed at the chamber

Fuzziness is not getting worse so maybe I got my FAE issue worked out.

A few discolored bumps could be contam or many be the start of pins?

Looks like you might be growing a blob, but nothing to really worry about. The fuzziness doesn't look super white like mold, so that's good.

Maybe it's the pictures, but they look like they're wet? Mist before picture? I'd keep an eye on them: but it's so hard to determine by pix... I'm still working on visual cues in person lol... either way, may be fine with increase in fae (which you've stated has occurred)... what is the room temp? What variety you got here? PE's are notorious for blobs, and I think it's worse at higher temps... but they're supposed to be potent af, cross your fingers lol

Yeah...misted right before the picture.
But... exactly 7 days in fruiting conditions and I have a real pin!!! The strain is B+. My first grow was with B+ but that was 5 or 6 years ago. I'm learning it all over again. It's hot in my house. Last night it was 82 in my room.
