No. Basically its little foil dishes under your cakes that you fill with water after pins come in. It keeps the cake hydrated and the mushrooms tend to grow bigger and abort less. Im using them for my cakes in my sig below.
Just search bottom water or look in the stickied tek list. Hard for me to link it on this device.

Well... My phone shit the bed. Thank Christ for manufacturer warranties! Unfortunately, though, there won't be any updates until (hopefully) Monday, when the new one arrives.

Just when I had given up hope... THE SIXTH JAR HAS MYCELIUM!!  HALLELUJAH!! 
Still gonna keep it quarantined until I know it's not some of that cobweb mold I read about, or some other nasty shit. But damn! What a surprise!
